Getting worried now

This is such a non-entity. We are inconsistent, just like everyone else

Swansea - for all their sideway passings they are pretty toothless up front. Relying on Kuqi to get you goals is an insult to humanity. At least we have goal scores in our side.

Blackpool - hit and miss. Decent one day, gash the next. Inconsistent. Plus they got Newcastle and Forest to play as well.

Sheff Utd - See Blackpool

Middlesbrough - Left it too late. Again, hit and miss. Too inconsistent to to string 6 good results together

Reading - only team I fear currently. But there is no way they can continue and keep up this exceptional form going into the play-offs.

You make it sound much calmer and less to worry about but not so sure I can be as relaxed over the next few games.

I've said for the last 3 games if we win it'll be much easier, much more relaxed and we can start to believe a little bit more but we've not done it, On Tuesday it really will be a case of must win, not only is it our game in hand it's a game against a team in the playoff shake up and a team we can overtake in the playoffs - IF we win (And I really do worry and have my doubt whether we are capable in current form) we can all relax again to an extent but must stay focused even if we win on Tuesday.

We've been saying for a while now every game is huge, I think Tuesday's game is more than huge.

Win at Cardiff in midweek and theres a 7 point gap restored.

Not worried yet, If we dont win against Cardiff, I'll be getting a tad worried.

I'll settle for a draw with Cardiff and keeping a four or five point cushion. But we mustn't get beaten. Play five at the back and give the full backs machine guns if necessary but we have to get a point at least.

We're still in a good position, I think if we win our home games (giving us nine points) and pick up at least one away win we should be fine for the top six.

Go to Cardiff and don't lose. They don't need to beat them, but don't lose - and don't get thrashed!

Never go into a game aiming to draw.

I guess you're right, it's negative strategy. Nigel Pearson isn't going to tell the players to get a draw. I still think the best way we can beat Cardiff is play defensively, soak up the pressure and then hit them on the counter attack. I hope N'Guessan and Dyer play for this reason. I may be wrong though.

I hope their just doing it to keep us on edge :giggle:

On a serious note, i think we will keep our cool and hold it together. We need to go into each game like its our last and battle and get them all important 3 points

Keep in together NP! :scarf:

No need to worry.

We're, just the usual typical Leicester City side I have seen over the years.

Play teams at the top of the table and win or draw, play teams at or near the bottom and be absolute shite.

Why we have always played like that I can never fathom out, let's for the moment just accept that's the way we are.

We have 2 big games coming up with teams at the top of the table so that's go to mean 6 points doesn't it?

After the last couple of weeks, it would be typical City to go and annihilate WBA on Friday night.

Results wen Leicester's way today, with Sheffield United losing. They are three wins behind now, and their form is very shakey. The sooner the teams outside the play-offs mathmatically fall away, my anus will start to relax a little!!

I think we're in a great position and anyone living in the real world must realise this too. The fans that are moaning and complaining about recent form need to look at why they celebrate at games like Doncaster, Blackpool, Crystal Palace away and Forest home, we have put ourselves in a situation where we can take 1 point from 9 and still be 4 points away from the playoff with a game in hand. I’m sorry but we're not going to bulldoze our way to promotion like a club that has a right to be in the premiership, we were playing away at Hartlepool in the Paint Cup last season FFS!!!!

Don't get me wrong I'd be disappointed if we didn't make the playoffs, but I’d be still very proud of our progress if we just missed out. I look at our season so far as a game of monopoly, we've just landed in jail through Bruno Berner rolling 3 doubles in a row, but all those wins mentioned above and more have earned us a 'get out of free jail' card that we've worked very hard for. Now we just need a smooth run in, passing go a few times and hope that McGiven doesn't land on Mayfair (owned by Blackpool) with 3 hotels

A bit of perspective goes a long way.

I agree with Hackney. And besides, is it not better to have bad form now and hit good form going into the play offs?

Ithink im right in saying that we cant be knocked out of play-off position until after the QPR game so look at Cardiff/wba games as little consequence (any points would be a bonus). If the worse happens and we lose both, then home win v QPR and back on track (lose that and its squeeky bum time)

I've been worried all season, sort of.

Not by our results and position in the table, which has been an outstanding achievement by any standards.

No I have been fretting about our unduly cautious playing style that has been so evident in many of our games this season, right from the opening month of the season. The tendency to sit back and try and hold on to what we had struck me as far too negative when teams were there to be taken. For most of the season this has been effective enough to keep us in a playoff spot and although I have voiced these concerns on occasion, results have made it a difficult opinion to express with any force.

Now that we are going through something of a rough patch, I worry that we might not have enough about us to come back and play with enough aggressive intent to get us back on track. Clearly a couple of good fighting performances in the next games would do fine, particularly if we can pick up a couple of points.

However two more poor performances, resulting in loses, would really have me reaching for the Andrex...

Relax, we're just getting in the necessary position to play Forest in the Playoff semis and beat them in the 2nd leg in their own back yard

True, just like we did 2 seasons ago when we thumped them 4-1 under Holloway with a far poorer team than we've got now.
