DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 30 April 2010 Posted 30 April 2010 My deepest sympathy also goes out to those of you who see a problem with my comments. I can only assume that you are also, either biologically afflicted, lacking in intelligence, totally brain dead, or have access to a computer in your psychiatric hospital. For any of you who for some reason don't fit the above category,. keep taking the tablets. May I also offer you all my deepest sympathy, for your sad afflictions.

The Doctor Posted 30 April 2010 Posted 30 April 2010 I'm slightly offended that this started to turn into an anti-lefthanders thread. Couldn't we just find all the anti-homosexuality people and put all of one gender on one of the channel islands & all of the other gender on another? Then they're not only out of the way they'll eventually have to accept homosexuality because they'll have been living amongst it for who knows how long. Then we can all whinge about something else (Such as cats).
Thracian Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 We only occasionally have sex to produce kids and, without going into lengthy argument, I cannot understand why people even concern themselves with the question of whether same sex intercourse/love/involvement etc is natural or not. I have a wonderful sister who seems almost obsessive about putting people's behaviour into convenient boxes but in fact people react to circumstances and sexuality has a far more complex purpose in those differing circumstances than simply procreation. Just enjoy being who you are would be my message and ignore the twats who would seek to programme you to their own misguided way of thinking. Personally I think it less understandable to vote for Gordon Brown than to fancy someone of the same sex. Normality? Can anyone even begin to define it? We mostly pretend to be decent, caring individuals who believe in all sorts of high moral ideals but we're a lot different in wartime or in other circumstances when our survival or our needs are put at risk or denied us. In fact we become so different in wartime that my father and many like him would never even talk about it. People respond to their needs according to their situation and there are all sorts of extreme situations which have demonstrated as much. People even become cannibals if necessary. Big brains or not we are animals first and foremost. We serve our needs and our first need is to survive and to do that it is probably healthy to relieve tensions, something that any form of sex is likely to do. Disagree? Well, just think of masturbation for a moment. Which sex are you messing around with while that's going on? I wonder if, were our Government to suddenly start promoting the idea of homosexuality being the norm, how many people, over time, would gradually start fancying a bit of same sex action....because so many of us have such an urge to belong and to fit in.
Tony Pine Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Abnormality, in the sense of something deviating from the normal or differing from the typical. so yes it is abnormal in that sense.
Tony Pine Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 well yeah, there quite clearly is. mertonians norms of science for instance.
Webbo Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Brilliant - use science to justify hate. When did he say he hated anyone?
FoxyPV Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Just checked Mertonian Norms - thought it was being used as a positive answer to the thread. Mertonian Norms don't state that there is 'normal' or 'typical' but a set of preferred behavioural rules for scientific behaviour (: //sci.mercer.edu/handouts/mertonian_norms.htm)
fatmando Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Yes, it's not normal imo. Men/women having sexual relations and short term relationships with men/women I can just about handle. It's the men/women 'falling in love' with men/women I can't accept. It's wrong. Very wrong. I certainly don't agree with same sex parents. Kids have enough to get their heads round as it is.

Guest Bilo Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 Fisting is probably abnormal though to be fair. Can you imagine? I wince after taking a particularly large dump. Not cut out for any of that mess I tell you.
Daggers Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 The day they outlaw shagging dead animals is the day I start looking for another country to live in.

Zingari Posted 4 May 2010 Posted 4 May 2010 Homosexuality is not abnormal. This however; flippin ' eck that's just obscene
Tabou Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 It simply depends on the people that you would ask that question to. I would see homosexuality as abnormal because I don't feel attracted to men and don't understand why some men is attracted to other men. However if you ask this to Tabou or someone who is gay then they would see this as normal. However I don't speak for homosexual crowd so better to wait for Tabou to come on! You called? It's been a while! Personally, I see homosexuality as abnormal. As people have said, anything that differs from "the norm" is by definition, abnormal. However, I think society as a whole has changed what it's concept of normality is, and everybody appears to be much more tolerant in this day and age. However, I certainly do not speak for the "homosexual crowd" (especially being a football loving, Tory Voting Beer drinker...), as I personally believe that homosexuality should be tolerated, not encouraged. I don't see the need to prance down Granby Street in pink hotpants, just because the majortity of the gay scene has an undying need to express it's "pride". I'm proud of much more things in my life, sexuality probably comes around 27th. If your curious, number 1 is my absolutely masssive penis.

Ah, so the real reason you don't parade about in pink hotpants, is because your penis simply won't fit in 'em!
