ACF Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11712_6119705,00.html James Wesolowski is looking to leave Leicester City and admits he would be open to joining Hamilton permanently. The 22-year-old Australian is well down the pecking order at the Walkers Stadium and is currently on loan in the SPL with Accies. Although Wesolowski has one year left on his Foxes deal he has been told he is not part of the club's plans and is now looking to move on. He hopes Leicester do not demand much for his services, if anything, as he is now keen to secure regular football elsewhere than with the Championship club. Not in the picture "I'm going into the final year of my contract at Leicester and the manager has made it clear I'm not in his plans," he told the Evening Times. "I don't think Leicester can ask for much money for me and they may even come to some sort of arrangement to allow me to go on a free. "I will need to talk with them at the end of the season and see what my situation is. "But I need to look elsewhere for football next season and the option to come back to Hamilton is a really tempting one. "I've really enjoyed my season here and I like everything about the club. We've done well, but I've got a feeling it's just the start of things. "Billy Reid is an excellent manager who has proved he can make a very strong side on a tight budget. With a bit of ambition we could aim even higher next year."
Guest Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Can't blame the guy. Always liked Weso, pity he was injured so often but there's just no way he'd get near the squad these days anyway I don't think. Good luck to him though
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Another Aussie bites the dust, was to be expected really.
lou Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 No loss really. Good luck to the lad , hope he does well
surrifox Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Good luck James. I suspect the sweaties league is about the level he can expect to play at. Hope he does well and makes a living at it- no future in the brave new world at the walkers I suspect
MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Hmm. I know he's slipped off the radar in the past few months and our central (defensive) midfield has been impressive with Wellens & King (the latter with his workrate, the former with his goals). Adams is also a proper back-up and could/should feature more often next season. But... Wesolowski could still be needed should one of them leave the club or become unavailable due to injury, unless Nigel Pearson hits the shopping market comes June/July/August.
MikeyT Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Good luck to him. I always thought he was ok, but hopefully for him he can gain regular first team football now, be it with Hamilton or another club.
Jimmy Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 it told you he had no future when in January when his loan was due to expire and we only had 3 midfielders available Pearson let him extend it. Always liked him as a player and still think he could be useful for us but its just another case of it not working for a player at a specific club. good luck for the future Weso

His injuries though stunted his growth as a player at a terrible stage of his career. I guess it is because of such injuries that he is now ruled of our squad. He did well under Kelly keeping us up a few seasons ago. Then again Kelly seemed to magically get the best out of everyone in that very short period of time, then it all went *its up the season after. Good luck to the bloke and if he does go to Hamilton i hope he is part of a successful team as it does like they are starting to build something special up there.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Good luck to Weso, always put in 100% effort for us which is more than can be said for most of the players he played alongside at Leicester.
Corky Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Liked him, added some bite into our midfield and was hindered by injury. Hope you find a good club James and have a decent career
Ricey Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Such a promising player intially, I remember seeing hi magainst Wolves and he looked like the most experienced palyer on the pitch. Looks like injuries took their toll though.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 Good luck to the lad. He always tried his best, and if it wasn't for so many injuries, he could have been a superb player.
