I can't count the number of tapes I had nicked from my car back in the day - possibly in excess* of 50. Strange thing is I reckon there's probably not a lot of overlap on the venn diagram that has "my taste in music" and "average car thief's taste in music".

Still, all I can hope is that a bit of Sonic Youth, some Pixies and a liberal sprinkle of The Cure bootlegs helped reform their ways.

EDIT: there might have been one or two of their albums too.

another thing that ive lost over the years .. my old tapes.. remember on a sunday tea time trying to record the charts and pause it at the talking parts.. ... then the pirate raidio "fresh fm" days...

I used to tape all the Charts the 'Golden hours' and sometimes even 'Our tune' How sad is that? Still got loads. IWhen my flad was refurbished afew years ago I left about 4 boxes ( biscuit size) outside a charity shop. Never saw them on sell so they were thrown away or nicked.
