Bettsj2 Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 He wanted £30,000 from QPR. I saw that. Surely that cant be the case though.
hackneyfox Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 But not a single one of those players cost us anything. His big signings all were top notch. Sour grapes my friend Of course they cost us, we had to pay the wages.
Edmund Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 George Boyd would surely be exactly the kind of player we need, and he's still at Peterborough. Just signed a new contract with them I believe. Of course they cost us, we had to pay the wages. Peanuts
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Could we be one of the clubs http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/12/manchester-city-robinho-deal Manchester City in talks with two clubs over £20m-plus Robinho deal • Unidentified clubs express 'firm interest' in unsettled Brazilian • Besiktas and Schalke linked with Robinho during summer Your good.
Joe. Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Just signed a new contract with them I believe. Yep, you're right. Very odd, he's definitely better than League One.
martyn Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Boyd is a strange one, I think he's one of those players who'll shine where he's a big fish. Definitely has ability. Would love to see us sign a quality winger. Dyer is more than adequate but I'm not a huge fan of Dn'G just yet. A tricky winger with good delivery would be a welcome addition a la Ross Wallace.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Wouldn't have minded Albert Adomah before he went to Bristol City. If we're after a winger, Jason Puncheon? Another player who's better than the league he's in.

We need 2 wingers, having one of League One standard and the other as League 2/BSP will do us no favours in the long run.
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 a couple of players i think we should sign striker: mauro bosselli - estudiantes. Argentine forward i believe his market value is something around the million mark, played 2 games for Argentina he's 25 i think. Johathan cristaldo - velez. argentine U20 i believe they want around 2m for him. he's a advanced foward so somebody would parter matty who i think is a deep forward quite well. davide petrucci - manchester united. loan, i don't think they would sell him, he's a inside forward like gally and joins the midfield into the attacking side. midfield/wingers. danny rose - Tottenham. loan. i believe there thinking about sending him on loan, and he playes anywhere down the left. very quick, and a mean left foot. Possebon - man u, loan. Brazilian. i think everybody saw him and his afro a couple of years ago? there looking to loan him out as well, not a bad player to turn defense into attack. gai assulin - Barcelona, Israeli, apparently he's a VERY good prospect for the future, some are saying he could be like Messi. kiko femenia - Hercules. Spanish. around 400k. Very quick like Lloyd Dyer AND he can cross Castro - Porto - portugal. around 400k, unless he's on a free now i'm not 100% but he's a very good box to box midfielder. well worth a look. Defence. Mario - Villarreal. Spanish. RB. He can cross, he can Run, he has stamina and he can defend. he's 18 or 19 and they want around 500k for him. Sean st ledger. need i say more? i would pay 2-3m for him. R.O.I international and he's solid, a good partner for Hobbs. marc muniesa. barcelona, CB, spain youth team, he's supposed to be another puyol, but barcelona arnt paying him much attention, i think they transfer listed him at around 100-300k something in between. or at least they would loan him out, and he looks solid. Raul - Vasco. RB a lot like mario, and supposed to be one for the future. minimum release cause is 1m unless he's signed a contract that i havnt heard about.
JohnnyB Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Official site just (very) briefly had a story up saying that we have signed Franck Moussa on a free transfer from Southend. Apparently he's a midfielder who can play anywhere across the line.

Where do you get all this from, are you an agent?

Brainy Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Yes to Jason Roberts, hope the 30k wage demand isn't true though.
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Where do you get all this from, are you an agent? an 18 year old agent? i think not XD i just like to have a look around at players and when they get signed or are in headlines i can feel chuffed knowing that i know who thta player is and there getting signed for a big club while everyone else looks like spazza's not knowing anything neymar for example XD i said last season to a few people that he'l be bought for around 15-20mil and he's a wonderkid, while nobody listened AND NOW LOOK!
Bryn Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 an 18 year old agent? i think not XD i just like to have a look around at players and when they get signed or are in headlines i can feel chuffed knowing that i know who thta player is and there getting signed for a big club while everyone else looks like spazza's not knowing anything neymar for example XD i said last season to a few people that he'l be bought for around 15-20mil and he's a wonderkid, while nobody listened AND NOW LOOK! Yeah that FM 2010 sure was £25 well spent.
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Yeah that FM 2010 sure was £25 well spent. Agreed. ;D but i also like to look at different video's and read people's opinions of some of the more "talented" players i find
Guest Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 now we have a little bit of cash to spend id love to see us try to get Readings Sigurdson and the young kid Ipswich have up front. We defo could do with some half decent wingers too as those we have dont.have enough quality.
Ozwin Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 I think we're good for youngsters, we should be going for some proven players if anything. Like some wingers who've actually achieved something in this division.
teblin Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 All this talk of wingers looking at the 1st 2 games a centre back would be on my list.
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 All this talk of wingers looking at the 1st 2 games a centre back would be on my list. agreed, sean st ledger anybody!? proven cb.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Err, I think you'll find a few people had heard of Neymar before this transfer window mate.
Aumski Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 Err, I think you'll find a few people had heard of Neymar before this transfer window mate. then he would have been signed last summer or done a arsenal with wellington silva and signed him before he turned 18 and his market value trebled.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 You honestly (HONESTLY) think that Neymar was an unknown before this window?! Deary me, he's been on the radar of top European clubs for a while now, any kid that even half impresses in South America immediately is. He's been reluctant to leave Santos, doesn't mean no one's heard of him, some people do watch South American football. Blimey.
