Floating Fox Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 Brilliant, and you could make it into a waver or a two-stick. Love it!
hernandez Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 I think the fox on itself (or the 'logo') would look good as a standard (2-stick) however I think I'm going to do it as a flag. I'll leave it with someone when I head back home, too.
BoneDog Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 Thoughts before I go further? Need to put the text somewhere and some colour if it's to be a pull over or a flag (not sure about the rules inside UK stadiums etc) Would paint it down here in Aus if so and bring it in over early October... I love this and would buy a nice polo shirt with a small logo of this on the left tit area. Lovely stuff
Ozwin Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 If you drew that fox yourself then you sir are a god and can you teach me?
wc-remix Posted 6 June 2010 Posted 6 June 2010 I found a very similar image however re-drew it. I'm going to make a few more modifications to it to make it more of my/City's own though. If the 'capo' of the Fosse Boys wants to get in contact with me in regards to doing more banners, the distribution of the above fox, stickers, flags, scarf's or whatever, send me or Hernandez a PM (ones my account the other one is my brothers). I do this for a living (not make standards, a Graphic Designer) and am more than happy to help out.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 I can't get on Facebook at work, but just to let you know - I've ordered the 6ftx6ft flag (Liam will know about it). It's the same one as my avatar pic <-- So all being well, that will be in attendance for the Sunderland game.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 Awesome! I swear I'm more excited about our group (Fosse Boys) than about the World Cup devoted or what
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 Quality mate just need to get a 7ft pole for it! Haha yeah...any ideas? Still got to get some for my other flags too. Are we going to make an appearence at the City v Forest legends game in Quorn? Would many be up for that?

Would many be up for that? Not sure about the forest legends game still trying to get everything organised for the sunderland game will send a message out soon about it see if anyone is interested http://www.skyblueleisure.co.uk/acatalog/Telescopic_Poles.html i ordered a 3m flag pole and it is a bit flimsy ok for sticking a flag on and attaching to the house but maybe not for waving just need to get googling! Edit: for your other flags http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MT20.html i've ordered some of that stuff and its perfect
1964FOX Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 Have read this thread and it is a great idea. Can anyone confirm you will be in or near SK1? I have a season ticket with the wife and son on row MM in SK1 and it would be great to have someone close who wants to sing and show passion for their team near to us. We either have nobody or few that don't sing, when it des get full for the 'big matches' the ones filling the seats are sometimes willing but don't know the songs. Want to make sure I don't look a pillock though if I am the only one aged 40+ in the group trying to sing for 90 minutes. I will be happy to make a flag for me and my lad to hold between us to to boost the numbers. Would make it as big as I can and hold it across an isle if I can get away with it, perhaps concealing the steward who stands at the top behind us if we hold it right. I often lose my voice after away games because of singing too much and it would be great to do it at home as well if there enough to create the right atmosphere. Also have any scarves with the Fosse Boys on been made as mentioned earlier in the thread? It would be great to see a hundred of them held high with flags waving around.
AndyBrew Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 Want to make sure I don't look a pillock though if I am the only one aged 40+ in the group trying to sing for 90 minutes. you and me both buddy ! your the same as us, me the mrs and my lad of 13 go and love the singing but usually get stuck in a dull part of the ground with little or no atmosphere so maybe we could start the Fosse Boys Over 40's Club !

Yes I include myself in that.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 8 June 2010 Posted 8 June 2010 Fair play to you, most talk about it but fail to actually do anything. Yes I include myself in that. I'm worried of that too 196 people have joined the Fosse Boys Group on Facebook and 89 people have added Leicester Ultras as a friend which means they are serious about getting involved i hope it isn't just internet talk and people will get involved, learn our songs, make flags and bounce all game! in a way i think having too many people too early will be the biggest problem will be too hard getting our songs across and getting the mentality across i was only expecting 30 people to get involved for the Sunderland game not nearly 100

Will most likely be the very corner of SK1 right next to the east stand we want to be on our own so we don't get shouted at for not singing English songs...

When you say 'not english songs' what sort of songs do you mean? I don't know too many English ones as it is (being sat in the kop an' all) so it'd be cool to get a list of songs to memorize if possible?

There's a song thread on the discussion board of the Facebook group mate, and a lot of them are also on the New Chants thread here.
