After the fiasco that happened on the training ground, most fans want him to go. We'd need to buy another centreback though if he went. I'm thinking Alex Bruce.

On what basis is Bruce a much better player? he played 2 & a bit games & was at fault for both goals in the Play off semi 2nd leg.

Brown played maybe 30 plus games & has had 2 or 3 poor games, Brown wins everything in the air & if he had played in the playoffs we might still be looking at Wembley now.

Yes it is but that doesn't make him a bad player all of a sudden as a lot of people suddenly seem to think. I thought he had a very good season & was a decent captain & leader at the back. What he did was just stupid but I wouldn't mind if he was still here next season as long as it is all sorted out with the rest of the squad & doesn't affect morale.

I would rather have him playing than Bruce put it that way.

Totally agree with this. I thought it would be a shame to let Brown go, as he's a decent player.

Would Notts County be able to afford his wages? I know they had that takeover bid but Brown must be on a decent wage.

i would much prefer brown in my team to bruce, if the rumours are true which i think they are, brown wont play for us again. I think bruce has to go back because i feel we can attract better prospects than him. he had maybe 2 good games for us but mostly looked shite and didnt cut it at all at ipswich and there bollocks.

let him go and sign either DeMerit (free agent) or Bruce (Keane wants rid) both have more to offer long term and have more pace

I think a lot of people are a little harsh on Bruce, the guy has played 3 games of football and 20 minutes, 2 of those being in the play off semis.

I liked what I seen from Bruce, he'd only played like 3 or 4 games for us but he was passionate as anyone, testimant to his character really, could do a lot worse.

Shame, even though Brown was awfull at alot of things, he commanded the air and defensively was sound!!! I'm not the greatest fan of Bruce, didn't shine for me, I hope NP doesn't make him a regular!!

Brown was good for us but I don't think he'll be too hard to replace, I see Brown as a back centre back next season with Morrison and Hobbs hopefully developing into a good partnership. I'd sign Bruce or someone similar and then we have Hobbs, Morrison, Bruce, hopefully Tunchev and then Tom Parkes if needed.
