nuttytimmy Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 According to the BBC, Palace will start selling after 3pm - and have already received offers for some players. Here's the latest quote from Brendan Guilfoyle, the administrator put in charge of the Eagles in January: "I've already made the calls [to other clubs]. What I'll actually do after the [1500 BST] deadline is start selling players. The enquiries are out, offers have been received. There are a number of players who have value but once they're sold and if no-one else comes in then I'll have to resign, walk away and then the liquidation process will re-start." Anyone reckon we'll be an interested party here? Would love to see Ambrose at the Walkers. Thoughts?

Thoughts? Think he's going QPR isn't he? Also sky sports news say theres a chance the takeover could happen still even with only 3 minutes left
dandannieldanok Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 Sean Scannell has lots of potential so I wouldn't mind him here.
Bettsj2 Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 Sean Scannell has lots of potential so I wouldn't mind him here. Ambrose is the only one but as has been said, he's going to QPR.
Unabomber Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 We should sign Nathaniel Clyne. Would completely sort out right back and will allow Morrison to get a few games at CB
Unabomber Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 Clyne will have Premiership interest I'm sure. Well worth a cheeky bid though
ROS5 Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 As said before, sean scannell would be a great signing, as would Neil Danns
DanTheFox07 Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 Im disappointed that we didn`t get in with a cheeky little bid for ambrose, for a midfielder who finished second in the midfield scoring ranks to whittingham would have given us a lot from set pieces and a danger in general! I hope pearson has got plan`s to snap up cleverley on loan again? oh and were we not linked with clint hill not long ago?

Ambrose lives in London and was always going to link up with Warnock again. After all it's thanks to him he resurrected his career.

Babylon Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Linked with a £1/2M move for him in the Mail today Link Edit: Link added It says 500k?
dave_the_fox Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 he's not worth £1 / £2 million, £500k good price
h1210 Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 It says 500k? Was supposed to be 1 over 2 (i.e. half)! I would have put 1-2 otherwise
teblin Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 It says 500k? 1/2 = half. think that's what is meant.
Toby or not Toby Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 Would be a decent signing, although it would ruin my fantasy footbal league team as I would have 4 Leicester players in the team!
Aumski Posted 23 August 2010 Posted 23 August 2010 scannell, some amazing pace, and was in the top 3 for youth players last year + the season before. (top 3 in the league, not club)
