Jordan Posted 13 June 2010 Posted 13 June 2010 Both teams have come out of the gates at 100 mph. The tackles are really flying in. I'm not sure this pace can keep up for 90 minutes, but if it stays like this for a while, we'll certainly see a few entertaining incidents.

To be fair, though, both teams are playing with plenty of enterprise (more so Ghana, who are exploiting a big advantage down their left wing with Ayew), but both back lines are playing great. Ghana has to make a couple of tweaks and figure out how to support Gyan up front.

Seems like it is taking most teams too long to get into the game, and up to now there's been numerous wasted clear-cut opportunities.

These opening fixtures are always tight affairs.
