ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Bloody hell got Cannavaro in my dream team as well...points lost Buffon & Zambrotta in mine
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Go on Alan Hansen, you carry on chatting crap. You caught yourself out with "two banks of four"
shen Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Buffon & Zambrotta in mine At least he won't be conceding any more
Northants Fox 3 Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 BBC's live feed is having problems can't believe it
ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 At least he won't be conceding any more He's scored a grand total of 2 points. And Tim Howard, who I have on the bench has scored 8 points. <_<
FoxyPV Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Listening to it on the radio and Italy aren't in this at all. EDIT: of course now they've made a **** out of me
Alexikokopops Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 1-1. I have De Rossi in my Fantasy team. Unfortunately he's on the bench
ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Great goalkeeping there. Expecting Italy to go on and win this now.
Mikey Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Italy look last 16 no more. Can't write them off though.
The Doctor Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 italy were poor until cameronasi(sp) came on. Surely got to start him next match. Paraguay were a lot better than i expected.
MC Prussian Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 One of the better matches so far. Paraguay gave Italy a good run for the game, that was until Valdez and Lucas went off and the midfield stopped feeding the strikers. Slick passing from the Italians, but they were again lacklustre until given a kick up theirs. Wouldn't write them off yet, it's but a wake-up call to Lippi & Co.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 June 2010 Posted 14 June 2010 Italy were poor but I'll say the same thing as I said about England, a slow start is seldom fatal to a successful campaign. They started poorly in 2006, were very nearly eliminated at the group stage in 1982 and won both World Cups. England started poorly in 1966 and 1990 as well, our two most successful World Cups. It would be premature to write them off yet, as awful as they looked tonight. Fair enough I don't fancy them to win it, but my top four picks in 2006 were Brazil, Argentina, England and Portugal with Italy, France and Germany a long way behind. Guess how the top three finished.
