To be honest,Brendan Rodgers never really got the chance to implement what he wanted at Reading,i remember us beating them down there and they played some lovely stuff, but just could not score..we were definitely lucky that night.

He and Clarke would make a very good appointment in my eyes, and with their connections, they would use the loan system well i imagine.

To be honest though cannot see it happening and i am pretty sure we our going to be left disappointed,Iain Dowie and Mickey Adams spring to mind.

The real truth of the situation, is that pearson wanted stringer put in stocks outside the ground, before every home game, and for the fans to throw rotten fruit at him, but mad mandy told him, he couldnt afford the price of the rotten fruit.

Pearson threw a strop, and said, thats it then, i`m off!

Good point, doubt Stringer's incident would of caused him to want leave. But it could of been a factor ;)

From a Bentley's poster

This is my 1st message since the relegation debacle, but I was in the Directors Lounge at Cardiff and witnessed the vitriol and blame aimed at Pearson for failing not only to get into the play-off final but automatic promotion......such allegations from the MOF/Hoos contingent included, failure to sort out differences with DJ and get him to perform, (knee jerk reaction to his hat-trick the previous evening?) failure to handle the Brown situation such that he played in the semis, bad tactics and team selection which cost us numerous points during the season etc etc. This was so bad that even Dave Jones supported Pearson in post match interviews. Therefore it wouldn't surprise me if this situation has not been engineered by the MOF to get Pearson out.... and the lack of a real statement, concern and efforts from the club to keep Pearson tells me that some new investment and a new (high profile) manager could already be waiting in the wings. Clearly MOF has willing agreed a compensation deal without any apparent efforts to block Pearson moving on.

Sounds more like the rant of an archetypal Radio Leicester moaner rather than football club board members with years of experience in the game. If that's the truth then I don't think anyone could blame NP for ****ing off to be honest.

Pearson is nothing special, and if he thinks going to a club with as many problems as Hull City is a good move then off you go fella... enjoy!

Pearson also showed publicly what a miserable git he is over the Stringer affair when a no mark local radio journo go so far under his skin he banned Radio Leicester from press conferences.

Since Mandaric came to LCFC he has made some mistakes but overall he has had the club's best intentions in mind at all times, and even if he is seeking the Premier League pot of gold before knocking us on for a profit that is no bad thing for us.

Whoever wrote the thread above needs some English grammar and spelling lessons and it could be a complete wind up. Gut feeling tells me that most of it has some basis and a new Manager is a good and not bad thing, unless it's Brendan Rogers who could'nt run a bath.

just before that he had a decent spell at watford. My bet is he couldn't handle the expectation of the reading fans what with them wanting promotion.

we've been losing £6M a year. Do you not think it might be better for the club in the long term to make a cheap appointment than pay silly money on a manager still with a club. Money doesn't always end in success - there are some bloody good unemployed managers out there and some terrible ones still managing.

no, manager is the most important man at the club, you dont skimp on managers.

maybe on a unknown who wants to prove himself, but not on a cheap proven failure such as dowie and rodgers.

Apparently everyone in the shop has been sacked now. They've been replaced by Filbert and DJ, who are both having to put in 72hour days.

It's a disgrace.
