lcfc84 Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 I have been working for Leicester for nearly 2 and half years now, and nothing surprises me anymore about football, the things that go on behind the scences is unbelievable and most fans never get the full story or picture. Mandaric took over this football club when we was in sh** basically and now he has steady the ship. He aint gonna throw money into this football club and he aint gonna give NP or any other manger millions to spend. If you remember Peter taylor spending 26million in one season on a load of sh** and look where it left us. Leicester now have a transfer community now were it is discussed between 4 people MM, NP, Loos and a behind the scences bloke, the reason for this is you can not let 1 person make all the decision because like peter taylor and david platt at forest you will just run the club into debt if it all goes wrong, that is why a list of potential targets gets put to community and it is discussed and taken from there. Now for the Nigel Pearson contract saga. Nigel Pearson started contract discussions with MM just before Xmas. In january he rejected it and said he wanted a improved offer. MM then offered him another contract which NP considered to be fair at the time and said he would sign it at the end of season. But as the season went on NP got linked with jobs and that made him think he was better than that and basically turned his head. If you remember NP was some1 that was not greatly known and was let go by southampton, MM shown massive faith in NP when fans doubted him, and it seems NP has forgotten about this and the chance we gave him., Np was offered a decent offer with a transfer Budget that more or less matched last seasons. We were due to sign 2 new players last week which Eddie Johnson and midfielder salif diao. MM then pulled out of the Eddie Johnson Deal saying that he wouldnt sanction the deal until DJ Campbell had been moved on and we could afford Eddie Johnsons wages. Salif Diao as i know was a done deal and i dont know why that wasnt confirmed. The thing that then got NP back Up which caused a argument was the Robert Pires story, NP doesnt want him and MM enquired about him, but has never released anything to media, it was Roert Pires that spoke out trying to drum interest in himself. Training NP still lives near sheffield and does travel down everyday. Np Has got a lot of players unhappy at min and when you see it for yourself you do start realise there is a big problem. Np does have his favorites aswell like hobbs,Morrision, Berner and fryatt. Just before xmas howard and Np squared upto each other on training ground, Max Gradel was Quickly fired off because he clashed with pearson over him demanding the ball and moaning about him not getting the ball earlier enough. Dj Campbell was told he could rot in the reserves, Robbie Neilsson was told to find another club just after xmas and is sure to leave. Danny N'Guesson was told he would play regularly and hasnt and said he wanted to leave on loan. Also young lads unhappy at not been given chance... Chambo, kee, Rowe Turner. There have been a number of clashes that have happened and do happen but there is a little to many. Just to let you know NP is a done deal negiations started last monday and at min MM is away but not on holiday, he is well aware what is going on,and has made plans for a replacement and offered Steve Clarke and Brandan Rodgers 1yr deals.

The fact we achieved a play off place last season shows that it didn't do us any harm. I'm more worried about the Wayne Brown situation if anything. One would've thought any potential signing would visit the training ground during his visit to Leicester. The fact is you or me can't prove that but using common sense he would've. Davids then pulled out of the deal.

He'd obviously been tapped up by West Brom. So Pearson and Mandy agreed to get rid. I don't know. The only certainty is that we have no real money to spend! Preperations for next season could be turned on their head., for if Nigel goes, others are sure to follow.
