Ozwin Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Wow, impressive spot. Never heard of them though, what team's have used them before?
StanSP Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Wolves: http://www.footballshirtculture.com/sponsorship/wolverhampton-wanderers-sign-burrda-kit-deal.html and Belgium http://www.footballshirtculture.com/sponsorship/belgium-announce-burrda-kit-deal.html and Watford: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/8177270.Watford_announce_new_shirt_deal/
Narborough_fox Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Why does it make no sense, when we are getting the same kit next year but with a sponsor, even our unveiling of kits is shambolic.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 I don't get it! What's happened to Joma? I thought they were still making our kit.
Jimothy Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Good spot. Strange one though. Burrda who make other teams kits (like Wolves) are going to sponsor Leicester, who kits are made by someone else. You'd think they want a deal to make the kits as well.
Jimothy Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Hang on. Are we saying Burrda are the sponsor or the manufacturer then?
Finchy Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Hang on. Are we saying Burrda are the sponsor or the manufacturer then? Well the Burrda logo on the jumper is where the Joma logo would be and it doesnt look like a Joma jumper so looks like we've done exactly what Watford have done and gone from Joma to Burrda.
Tilley Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Manufacturer. No sign of Joma anywhere on OS or club shop.
Ozwin Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Is Burrda a branch of Joma or something? Seems weird that we'd break an agreement 1 year in.

Manufacturer. No sign of Joma anywhere on OS or club shop. Ah right. So we've changed kit supplier, and still have no idea who the new sponsor will be.
lcfcsam Posted 7 July 2010 Author Posted 7 July 2010 Wow, impressive spot. Never heard of them though, what team's have used them before? They're not exactly the most respected of brands I don't think, but are responsible for this and this. Rebranded Joma maybe? EDIT: just noticed the post above. ignore
Narborough_fox Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Is Burrda a branch of Joma or something? Seems weird that we'd break an agreement 1 year in. Thinking the same, or joma have stopped supplying United Kingdom.
Finchy Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Also i'm sure Burrda are making AND sponsoring Watford kits. *Edit. Yes they are, and that Watford kit is dire.
Ricey Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Manufacturer. No sign of Joma anywhere on OS or club shop. Ha! Beat you to it by 10 minutes in the other thread! Don't like the Watford kit, Wolves one is nice though. Both kits look quite baggy though and the badges are really small.
Webbo Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 http://www.burrda.com/They seem to make a lot of kits for arab teams. Maybe this is something to do with the new investment we've been hearing about.
lavrentis Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Remember seeing the Watford kit and thinking how bad it was. Not fussed if we win matches in it.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Bizarre. Burrda are an entirely separate entity to Joma, they're Swiss and Joma are Spanish. Might have to rethink the statement I made on the other thread I reckons.
Webbo Posted 7 July 2010 Posted 7 July 2010 Webbo, tenuous link, but excellent shout if true! Tbh it's probably me putting 2+2 and getting 5.
