Howard - Going to a Yorkshire Club?

Under Sousa he won't be used a lot as I see it on the ground a lot and as we know...

Howard + Ground = Crap.

Tend to agree. He was always likely to be a casualty.

Felt last season was probably going to his last effective one at this level anyway unfortunately. Best of luck to him though, a good servant to the club while he was there and we'll never forget THAT Leeds goal. :scarf:

I'm pretty sure he's got connections/family in Yorkshire hence why when we nearly shipped him out last season he was favouring a move to Huddersfield over Southampton.

Huddersfield?

Gutted if true. He should not leave for anything. Great servant to the club who should be allowed to see out his career coming off the bench and terrorising woeful championship defences for as long as he wants to. My favourite player and I don't want him going anywhere

I swear this rumor was out in the january transfer window?!

They were trying to get him on loan then.

Can't say I'm surprised about this. Provided me with some great memories - Leeds in particular!

Im a big fan of howard and would be very disapionted if he left. I think we could get another good year out of him even if he,s just useed as an impact sub. People say he wouldnt suit sousa,s style of play but any team needs a plan B

I think it's the right time to part ways, yeah we probably could have got another season out of him but I'd imagine he's one of the highest earners at the club and is it worth keeping him around to play a bit part for the money it would cost, I think not, Lets hope his bezzie mate follows him.

Shame. He proved against Cardiff that he could still do a job when called upon. However, as others have already said, he won't suit Sousa's brand of football. Swansea had big guys up front (Beattie, Kuqi) and it didn't work, so perhaps Howard going is the sensible option.
