Salieri Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 If this is true then i'll be sorry to see him go, despite the fact it is probably the right time. Cheers Steve, good servant to the club and leaves behind some good memories. Sure he'll do a great job at Huddersfield.
Corky Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Shame that he seems to be going. Best of luck for the future Steve, good last couple of years from you.
Guest Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Will be missed but all the best to him if he does move on, he's given us some brilliant moments to remember in his time with City. 'Howard's gonna get ya!'
Wymsey Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Has he gone for free or is it a selling that will give us extra funds?
davieG Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Has he gone for free or is it a selling that will give us extra funds? It's just a rumour not a fact so no one knows any real details. Even when it's official, based on previous practice we still wont know.
Walshy5 Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Does anyone actually have a souce of info about this because i cant find anything

MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 He was always rumoured to leave this summer and like others have already pointed out, Huddersfield wanted him on loan half a year ago. I'm not sure whether he could've still had an impact with Leicester, on one hand he's still a utility man up front who can plough through any defense with ease. His goal against Leeds will live on forever in any LCFC fan's memories and his contribution against Cardiff away in the playoffs were nothing shy of superb. However, he's not getting any younger and lost a lot of his quickness. And hoofball is not the future. Wayne Brown's departure was the first indication of a new dawn. Still, thanks a lot for all the great goals, Steve.
maddog Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Fresh start, new manager Steve. Just need Oakley gone aswell now.
Houdini Logic Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Under Sousa he won't be used a lot as I see it on the ground a lot and as we know... Howard + Ground = Crap. You're forgetting the burst of pace and cracking run (not plural) he made every one in ten games. Always baffled me
Bettsj2 Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 I'll never forget that goal against Leeds but i'll also never forget his performances at home to Sheffield Wednesday and away to Stoke in the last two games of the relegation season. If this is true then he leaves even with no hard feelings. Wouldn't be a huge loss.
eaststandtom Posted 11 July 2010 Posted 11 July 2010 heard 2 of the 'main squad members' from last season are not in the 23 for slovenia. DJ is in
Bert Posted 11 July 2010 Posted 11 July 2010 At least the ridiculous love in can stop now. He had one good season for us, and good end to last season. Still, he gave everything for us when he put the shirt. All the best Steve.
J.Lisemore Posted 11 July 2010 Posted 11 July 2010 Always have been a fan of Steve Howard. His effort is 100%. Sad to see him go.
armstonfox Posted 11 July 2010 Posted 11 July 2010 tbh this might sound strange, but i dont want him to go, id rather let dj go than steve, because he gives and aerial pressence, but he is a bit to clumsy, but does set goals up and now and again he does score some. SUPER STEVE

LeicesterLuke Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 Howard's in slovenia.... Was just about to say dont be so sure about him going
lestafox57 Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 i reckon he will stay with leicester as long as he can untill he retires even? Lots of leicster pride in steve howard ever since the move from derby but is getting on now and younger players seem to be the way forward. Just a shame all players haven't got pride in his team like stevie howard and matty fryatt!! Teach england a thing or two about pride wouldnt they??
