look_back_in_amber Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Tigers fan in peace Just wondered if you could tell us a bit about Waghorn, what type of forward player is he, and is he any good? http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/Bruce39s-search-for-a-striker.6415985.jp
Narborough_fox Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Worst player of the season last year, NP bums him though,
Fox You Forest Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 He's certainly a step up from the likes of Harper and Solano....
KFS Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Considering Nigel will play hoofball to try and get you promoted, he's wank. Good luck x
look_back_in_amber Posted 13 July 2010 Author Posted 13 July 2010 4 words. Too good for Hull. Cheers boys, so I take it he'll be a star larker then
dandannieldanok Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Fast, powerful, always gives 100%. Will certainly endear himself to your fans. Won't be a 25 goal-a-season man but still a great forward to have in this division.

rico Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 So much for being part of Bruces' plans this season then!
The Doctor Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Runs around alot, won't get too many goals but with decent service should just about reach double figures, big on effort, not paticularly good playing as the lone striker (lack of height) - basically a younger version of dickov (only with the ability to score) .
Uncle Monty Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 In my eyes he is a really good player, nobody can accuse him of not putting the effort in. He scored some important goals too, a great one against Cov - i think it was Cov anyway. Puts fear into defenders with his constant running forcing them into mistakes. Although scorer of significant goals, he is by no means prolific but what he lacks in goals he makes up for his sheer willingness to chase down every ball. I'm sure this will make him into a fans favourite as he is/was here.

look_back_in_amber Posted 13 July 2010 Author Posted 13 July 2010 Cheers boys, and I genuinely wish you every success with Sousa
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Scored twice for Sunderland in a pre-season game this evening.
Finchy Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Scored twice for Sunderland in a pre-season game this evening. ...and got stretchered off in the last few minutes.
bluebeau Posted 14 July 2010 Posted 14 July 2010 Don't think he will be going anywhere right now. He was stretchered off with a knee injury last night in a friendly game against Munster X1. Scored a well taken goal, & then a very nice free kick to net his 2nd. If he does go out on loan, some club is going to get a bloody good player. He will be even better than he was for City last season.
Mack Posted 14 July 2010 Posted 14 July 2010 Injured. And by the way Bruce was talking after he will be staying at Sunderland this season anyhow.
