Dylan Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 Bellamy would EASILY be able to get into another Prem club. Even if ManCity don't wanna sell to rivals, i'm sure some bottom table clubs would want him. And if he was to go to championship, he'd probably only go to Cardiff cause he's from there. Would love to get him as he'd easily score at this level, but can't see it happening. Cardiff would be dangerous with him too. Man City would probably be paying most of his wages still, as I can't see Cardiff affording more than 30k a week (which is only 30% of his reported 90k a week wage).
Uncle Phil Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 I was under the impression Bellemy was just training with them, but would not be signing for them?
sdb Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 he's interested in moving there cause his wife and kids live there. would be criminal if they got him, even if he is a bit of a twat.
Uncle Phil Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 Yeah I just read that on bbc sport. He'd still get into most premiership teams. Even if he does go to Cardiff, old Hobbs will keep him in his pocket.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 16 August 2010 Author Posted 16 August 2010 If he goes to a championship team, he will get 20 goals, no matter who hes playing with.
wurmer Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 He's a tool, a great talent but I wouldn't want him here despite his skill - another flawed sporting genius. Can't see Man City being helpful to him either, by letting him go to his "home" club and picking upmmost of his wages bill. They can afford to hold onto his registration and let him rot, and if he's pissed them off enough, they probably will.
i hate cov Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 I love leicester but we wont sign bellamy whilst were in the champoinship

filbertway Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Bellamy is going on loan to cardiff according to sky sports news. Great signing for them if it goes through.
VampLCFC Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 filbertway, you beat me to it, superb signing for Cardiff, he's a cracking player!! Bit gutted to be honest, I can see them walking this league!!
sewelly6 Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Cardiff are 10/1 on SKYBET to win the league right now i can see that being shortened any minute worth a cheeky tenner. Bellamy,Chopra,Bothroyd and Mcormack that's just greedy any of those would walk straight into our team
sdb Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 what a joke. he's got all his life to live there and settle down. footie aint a long career. that's Cardiff up imo, hope i'm wrong.
h1210 Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Anyone heard how long the loan deal is? A month? Till Jan? I wouldn't be surprised to see it going tits up and him moving on very quickly.
Callabinho Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Is this Dave Jones saying its now or never for Cardiff? They can't afford Bellamy's wages so Man city must be paying most of them! But surely they will have to sell one big name now? My guess is Jones will sell Chopra, Bothroyd, or Whittingham if the price is right! but only one of them! it seems likely that Chopra will get the Chop but how much would you say Whittingham is worth? £3 Million? Or do we go for a Spanish or Portuguese youngster who no one has ever heard of?
filbertway Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Chopra and Bellamy while not the same class play similar roles, on the shoulder of the last man running onto flick ons and through balls, so if it's till the end of the season, maybe we could put in a cheeky bid for chopra?

Doubt he would come here though! unless we gave him an obscene wage! Id rather Whittingham but we will have to see what Paulo does in the next few days!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 He hasn't been too happy because Cardiff didn't sign good players in his eyes. Also if there is someone playing in his position who will start regularly than him, he probably won't want to stay.
wurmer Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Man City must be paying most of the wages - they are 'supposed' to be pretty broke (despite their new investment) and they could face another winding up order shortly.
MPH Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Is risdale the chairman at cardiff? He's the one who completly overspent at leeds and almost financally killed the club. Be afraid cardiff fans....

You mean other than being told to stay the F- away from any Man City facility, and being told that he won't play for them again.
markbsac Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 chopra........no thanks ! whittingham yes please !
VampLCFC Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Surely Cardiff will be paying him very little, if anything at all, it will be Man City that are still paying him, they obviously just want rid of him following his alleged fall out with Mr Mancini and his comments about the club on sky sports news last week

My sister workes in Cardiff and after the play-offs all the players were in a bar in town slagging Leicester off, saying the fans were retards and the town is shit etc. They all think they're fooking bigtime so wouldnt want any of them here.
hackneyfox Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Till someone pays their wages and they get first team football.

Aww they called us bad names?? They definately wouldn't move to us in that case . I'm sure some of our fans bad mouthed their players during and not long after the game, but we'd still take most of their players if we had the opportunity.
