Criggers Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Aww they called us bad names?? They definately wouldn't move to us in that case . I'm sure some of our fans bad mouthed their players during and not long after the game, but we'd still take most of their players if we had the opportunity. Bothroyd and Whittingham I slagged off. Whittingham for moving the ball and being a genuine pain in the ass and Bothroyd for being a diving fooker. I'd take both. I really really would struggle to support Chopra though, I never have liked him. Cheating ****.

Probably not. All of their star players have had a couple of years slogging it out for a place in the premiership, realistically I cant see why any would come here as it's just a sidewards move. They'd all be looking for lower half premier moves surely?
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Ross McCormack has already agreed terms with Hull. The deal depends on Daniel Cousin agreeing to go the other way though. There signing everyone, hope they fail miserably though.

I agree with that reasoning and share the same opinion, if cardiff are trying to shift players for financial reasons though and we come in, we were in a similar position last year to them so wouldn't be considered much of a backward step. Like you say though, if lower half prem teams come in then they're going to go there as that is where all footballers in the english league system wish to play (aside from bellamy it seems ). I'd love to have Bothroyd but I can't see them giving him away any time soon.
Callabinho Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Aint no way we're getting anyone from Cardiff. My sister workes in Cardiff and after the play-offs all the players were in a bar in town slagging Leicester off, saying the fans were retards and the town is shit etc. They all think they're fooking bigtime so wouldnt want any of them here. Saw that with that Fastard Chopra, in his interview "I have no sympathy for Leicester" Their all sh*t in the Premier League anyway!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 With Motherwell coming at them, they may have to raise some funds from somewhere. Lets put in a cheeky bid for a player and hope for the best.
Ashley Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 I would actually love it if Cardiff get wound up and possibly go into administration. I know its not nice for a club to go into administration but its Cardiff so f**k them to put it nicely
Narborough_fox Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Cardiff should have been wound up 6 months ago, how there still around is piss poor by HMRC.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Totally agree, don't like them one bit, they have got away with the debt and transfer stuff for far too long, they need to pay up to clubs rather than spending £45k a week on Bellamy. In my eyes it looks like they are just going for it this season, and will use the 90m promotion money (over 3 years) to get rid of the debt.
Criggers Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Bellamy going there is a joke. On the part of the premier league, the football league, HMRC and Man City. If Cardiff are paying massive wages then they shouldn't be allowed and if man city are paying the majority then that shouldn't be allowed regardless of what club it is or their financial situation. Absolutely piss poor. IF I found out Bellamy was taking a huge wage cut and being paid £20k then I could accept it but we know he isn't because he is still under contract at Man City. And we all know about ayers and their contracts from DJ over the last few years .

I very much doubt that we were paying the full salaries of those we had in on loan.

In my eyes it looks like they are just going for it this season, and will use the 90m promotion money (over 3 years) to get rid of the debt. Thats what they did last season. Well in my eyes they did. Everyone else is playing within their means and yet one club is allowed to take a gamble. Imagine if they make the play offs again and then go into admin when they lose them. The team in 7th would have been denied a place in the play offs when they have been performing legitimately within their budget. Oh and Ridsdale is no longer chairman otherwise a comparison to Leeds Champs League and Cardiff Prem wouldn't go amiss... Also Motherwell should be akward as possible. They should try and get back some of the £100k+ asap. I'm of the thinking that taking property (goals, corner flags, balls, kit) would be a result. Also they have a game on Saturday. Perhaps all the seats before the game?
wurmer Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 It's a joke that they had the embargo lifted when they still owe money that is overdue to other clubs. It's not even as if they were in discussions with Motherwell, they basically ignored them, and didn't even bother turning up at court, which Motherwell were forced to do because Cardiff were ignoring their requests for 2 missed payments. It's pathetic, and they should be kicked out to play in the Welsh league with the sheep, if they are going to act like this.
MPH Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 It would not suprise me if he broke his leg in his first game for them......

I very much doubt that we were paying the full salaries of those we had in on loan. There is astutely using the system and then there is absolutely abusing the system. Yes we have had a fair few loans over the past few years however the salaries of ALL of our loanees would probably cover no more than 15% of bellamys weekly wage. I just find it so frustrating that a team that were so close to administration can out of the blue be allowed to sign a 90,000 a week proven premiership quality striker! I know Cardiff are part of the English championship but who are there governing body? Would it be the F.A or the Welsh F.A? As if it was the latter then it certainly wouldn't be the first time they had bent the rules to benefit the taffy t**ts! Im sure the welsh F.A rescindered a red card given to darren purse so he could play in the fa cup semi final. What the fook have they got to do with the ENGLISH league and cup? I know its probably all irrelevant as we were never going to sign Bellamy but it just pisses me right off!!!
stix Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 If we were in Cardiffs situation we wouldnt be allowed to sign him
C-man Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 If we were in Cardiffs situation we wouldnt be allowed to sign him Ah yes, because everybody in British Football hates Leicester.
h1210 Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 If we were in Cardiffs situation we wouldnt be allowed to sign him Or ridiculously stretch our finances in a desperate bid to get promoted

artursteppe Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 With Motherwell coming at them, they may have to raise some funds from somewhere. Lets put in a cheeky bid for a player and hope for the best. Reports say Man City are paying £50k per week toward Bellamy's wages, and Cardiff must find £35k per week. To do that they will have to sell at least one player, more likely two, with all their other money problems. I am really hoping whoever buys their players forgets to pay them for a very, very long tiiiime!

Surely they won't be able to pay that and keep all of their players? Not forgetting they need to pay Motherwell 175k as well. Whittingham pleaseeee.
