Valerenga, you're a man I'd like to have a beer with (apart from the fact that I'm in Bangkok, and I guess you're in Norway). Spot on on all counts mate. If you're in BKK, I'll shout you a ladyboy!

Fosse Boys to be ejected.....The cvnts didn't even let me in. I had to go back to my ST seat in L1 even though I got my ticket in SK1 straight after the Boro game. But apparently we were told not to buy tickets in the SK1 area again. When were were told this God only knows. All I know is that message never got too me.

Whoever is in contact with the club was supposedly told by Barclay - when, I don't know, the stewards couldn't be sure. To be fair to them, they weren't arsey, just doing as they were told.

So whoever the contact is (or if anyone knows the contact information for Barclay) could you pm the details to me please, I feel a rant coming on.

Have to say the Kop were far more vocal today (or so it seemed). That's to say, I heard you several times, so top notch for the effort. Hope some of this was down to the Fosse Boys. How did the sitting down go?

EDIT: I'm going to Cyprus tomorrow for 10 days, I've got 3 weeks off work, Ha chew on that Barclay! I'm off to get bladdered, heaven knows I need a pint.

They spent most of the 2nd half in the downstairs area chanting away,

Enjoyed being in concourse more than in the stand to be honest.

It was like the return of lassie when you all came up the steps with 15 mins to go.

But fair play to you all 'twas a nice protest at the end I don't think you could have done anything better.

And most of the young children were joing in with your "jump up if you love Leicester" song so I think that you've left a lasting impression on them.

I wasn't sure whether I liked the idea of an ULTRA group at my football club but having seen you this evening, and the impression you have left on some of the younger supports I now have nothing but respect for what you are trying to do at our club.

Congratulations for all of your effort.. AND WELL DONE :chant:

I wasn't aloud in SK1 for unfathomable reasons. Something along the lines of we were told that we couldn't buy tickets in SK1, when all I'd done is just had my ST seat moved for one game to a different part of SK1. But I wasn't aloud to just use my ST and go in my normal seat, so instead they sent us to K block.

Last 15 minutes the Fosse Boys looked great from K.

We spent the first half sat with the few of us that got in, Liam and Dave and a few others got in but were told that if they went into the stadium they would be ejected immediately. we did our best in the kop and were joined by about 10 older kopites who kept the atmosphere going, for that I thank them.

At half time we went down to see the rest in concourse and to be honest we got some songs going and it was better than in the stadium which seem very quiet not sure what happened to L1 but I don't think I heard much from them at all.

We decided to go back to our seats with about 10 mins to go and managed this without being challenged and managed to sing to the end of the game and for about 10 mins afterwards until the stewards moved in enmass at which point I was threatened with a citizens arrest :crylaugh: as I was walking down the stairs.

I don't know it just seems to me that football has gone down the toilet big style, I think it's time for me to bow out personally, the atmosphere is sterile, the prices are way to high, as has been said on here a few times football has changed, whether it's for the better is personal opinion but for me it's not what I want, and although I love lcfc the club has simply shown me where I lie in the scheme things and I am simply no longer prepared to pay for that privilege :frusty:

its game over mate...for me anyway, i aint got the energy anymore to put up with the clubs constant battle to make people sit.

That's exactly what they want, don't let them win.

I really don't understand it at all, how can L1 be allowed to stand when they're right next to the away lot (where trouble is most likely to occur) yet a little section of 20 people in an empty space of the kop can't. Makes absolutely no sense at all.

You can tell most of the stewards feel stupid even asking people to sit when they're obstructing nobody, it's a ridiculous state of affairs.

yeah i know but i guess they won, i was challenged by a bloke on the back row of sk1..i mean right at the back and going on at me for standing, i walked out in disgust after that and met the fosse boys down at the bar,,,,,i never give up but i have this time

Was that you?! Thought it was gonna get physical at one point.

I'm feeling the same it's a crazy state of affairs but I feel tired of it to.

To be honest I would never want to obstruct somebodies view and would rather sit down, and an old couple behind asked a very tall member of the fosse boys to sit down, I offered to swap seats and duly sat down, after a few seconds I glanced behind me and the feckers were standing up because we were attacking in the last 5 mins, priceless!

As a steward, i feel for you chaps. And if i weren't working i'd be joining you. I was checking seats after the game and saw you lot singing and chanting after everybody had left, and i was wondering what was going on. I had to dash on here and find out what the crack is, and alas i discovered this thread.

I can only say that if there is a large group of you, you probably won't be ejected. Banned perhaps, but not ejected from the stadium. Though as others have said, your best course of action in the short term will be to sing sitting down, and standing up only for moments at a time (hardly easy to do i know with a good sized group) until your numbers grow. The ground regulation is against persistant standing. The reason nothing is done at L1 and the away section is because there isn't the manpower. The club want to excel in safety standards, which are already amongst the best in the country and the world, and obviously this nullifies atmosphere - but if they don't meet requirements the FA hits them hard.

I have to say though, i noticed more of a noise during the Boro game than this one, that could be attributed to you lot not being out for the second half today though lol

Good luck in what you are trying to do.

EDIT: My personal opinion is that the only way change will ever come about is if attendances keep falling or if the FA get their arse into gear (doubtful). There has got to be a tipping point at some stage in the future.

So awful on the pitch and an absolute horror show off it then.

That season ticket is refundable isn't it?

Not enough for you to give up your perks and freebies though..

And what sanctions would the FA hand out? I've heard others spout this yarn at me in recent days - doesn't mean it's true.

It's easy to "excel" in safety standards when half the ground is empty. Not so easy to keep the club in business though.

For many fans, that tipping point has already been reached.

The powers-that-be at the Way have a decision to make about whether they want to continue as part of the problem, or become part of the solution.

Absolutley agreed with the banners that the Fosse Boys unveiled at the end of the game "Supporters Not Customers"... Ive had trouble with the club before over this over-commercialised crap that they like to throw everywhere...

Its just madness.

By perks and freebies, you mean my £25 per game wage, yes?

Don't bite, he's just a twat.
