Fosse boys to be ejected - time to make a stand

I really appreciate the posts saying "don't give up" "our fans need you" and the like, and hell knows if I weren't as involved as I am with the group I'd be right in there joining you in the encouragement. Hell, I'm Mr. Optimist whether City are top of the top flight or down in the doldrums (or at least I thought I was). But today has made me fully see and understand why lads like jme and Floating Fox, who also worked so hard on a project (which LCFC at first took full credit for might I add) to rejuvinate the seemingly lost passion of our fanbase, are so disaffected by the short-sightedness of a club who seem perfectly happy to lose a generation of supporters because of their pathetic and perpetual need to feel in control.

Me and the other main lads involved in setting up this group knew this would be a long, hard slog in so many aspects of its foundation, but on evenings like tonight when the club did so much to deny us any presence in the ground even before kick-off (i.e. before we even had the potential to break any of the "ground regulations"), it just makes you wonder how much this faceless sham of an organisation cares about retaining the support of those most loyal to it.

They are picking on you because you're a small group, don't sit down and take this shit.

Leicester has been calling for this for so long and recently, you've made the atmosphere better. Quite frankly we need you. Looks like the shite on the pitch needs lifting and you did that today for very long periods.

Maybe it is worth all sitting behind the banner for a couple of games and doing a roll call, increasing numbers. Then you could use the strength in numbers theory.

I know it's stupid but I thought you could work with the club in which people who stumble across you and don't want to be with you can swap seats with people that want to be with you. For instance, me being a monthly goer could swap seats with grandad leicester fan.

Anyway, keep it up, remember what happens when your sighing...

Good comment mate:)

I'd love for us to do an FC United and break away in protest. Just a dream though.

What is the e-mail address I am seriously thinking of sending an e-mail in.

Make it really dramatic, she only reads the ones that she can make surprised faces about..

Mate, all I can say is don't worry about it now. Have a beer, or a cup of tea - go to bed, and then we can re-group before the next game. There are too many people behind you = either we can lobby the club to change or lots of people will walk away. But that is not tonight's fight. You've been stars and will continue to be so.

The guys on here need to get their heads together to decide how best to tackle this.

Send her a picture of messages on your cock then.

Can't some of the more "famous" supporter alliance people like Lance Tomlyn or Foxes Trust have a talk with LCFC officials, because the treatment of "our" Fosse Boys is quite disrespectful.

It is time for some of the top boys to step up and support a bunch of lads that only creates positive energy.

Or just do a FC united and sing quality songs for 90 minutes, with everyone bouncing up and down, scarfs aloft, making the whole stand shake, Unfortunately also just a dream.

Make sure the messages to FLS are short and snappy to, otherwise she wont read them out as she's only give a couple of 40 second slots.

I'd say it couldn't get much worse, but lying to the media isn't a brilliant idea, gives the club things they can legitimately deny.

Fair enough, but there isnt much to put that actually is a lie is there? Players arent happy, performences arent great and the players sousa has signed don't really look that impressive, then again only four games alot of time for things to get better, or possibly worse.

I'm already on the case, and will be speaking with the media at Skyride tomorrow on this.

Any representatives of the various other fans' groups (Foxes Trust, FCC etc) who wish to voice support will be most welcome.

It's very clear that elements at the club, despite all the emails they've received in the past two days (plus all the messages posted on here and other forums), are determined to isolate, humiliate and ultimately destroy the Fosse Boys.

We cannot and must not allow this to happen.

Glad to hear that, mate. Best of luck.

Hello,

I've been a strong Leicester City fan since i was 8. Own nearly every shirt, seen us get promoted in 96, saw us get relegated to division one, to come back up, and then back down. I've experienced the highs and lows - but never lost faith in MY team.

Although i didn't attend the Leicester City vs Reading game today, i'm appalled to read what is on a favourite forum of mine. A group of Leicester City supporters, have been told they will be ejected, and refused entry if they stand up and sing. So far it seems that it is just this section of the crowd they seem to persitantly want to punish. I feel disgusted, that a "family" club like Leicester City - would deprive their most faithful supporters of enjoying the matches to their fullest; by singing and creating an atmosphere to encourage the team.

I would appreciate this to be read, and made public so others can see the powers above at Leicester City - are turning their backs on their own fans.

A very dejected Leicester City supporter.

Thats what i put in my email :)

What was the attendance today? Arab had his suspicions over the ticketing yesterday? Was it justified?

( i am really going to bed now)

I really dont know what to do, if the club are willing to stop people from entering the ground for just wearing Fosse Boys scarfs then how can we win??

we cant simple as that, maybe we need to give up and just wait till the laws are changed in this country, because the club seem to not care about what the fans think,

dispite all this, i had an awesome time down stairs during the second half! drinking beer, watching the game on tv and jumping around singing, and not being pointed at by stewards.

i really dont know what to do now, the stewards stopped people from getting in the kop before breaking any ground regulations, if this scenario was described to someone who didnt know what going to football was like they would seriously be baffled,

Kevin Barclay is acting like Hitler and he is getting away with it because there is NOTHING we can do, and he knows it, what will happen if they ban us?

maybe 5 or so people will hand their season tickets in, like the club will give a shit about that

football in this country is going to shit, but not for the clubs just for the fans and the clubs dont care

We are getting record low attendences at the walkers and the club is banning fans?? who see's the logic in that? Kevin Barclay, that's who

fuck modern football

Not really, given the various offers and discounts available...

28,000 turned up to the Plymouth game last year when similar offers were available. Sky or not, this was a deservedly shit attendance.
