easilee Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 This is a sad, sad day in the history of Leicester City Football Club and demonstrates quite clearly that fans are no longer important to the club. This situation disheartens me much more than the unacceptable performances on the pitch and is matched only by the murky shenanigans of our owner. Each year recently, apart from last year I've been so near to saying that's it! I just hate the way the club is moving where the fans are marginalised but each season I think give it one more time. This year I really feel like I've been mugged what with having to purchase my ST so early on only to find a successful manager has been manoeuvred out of the club and the less than transparent poorly executed takeover that is still in the air. Having been mugged finding my fellow fans have been kicked whilst down by the most shameful and underhand tactics of manipulating ticket sales to prevent a natural and spontaneous response to the clubs draconian interpretation of the rules and their biased and cowardly targeting of a group of fans in more less the same way they did with the North Stand group whilst allowing the bigger groups congregating in the back of the Kop, L1 and away fans to break those same rules. If I hadn't purchased a ST I really do feel that I would give it all up, certainly my son feels the same as he nearly didn't bother to go today and really wished he hadn't, sufficed to say his best mate left at half time. It's going to take some almighty changes to make me renew next season, Mandaric will need to be distant memory and the eventual new owners will need to show they care for the feelings of the fans. Maybe these are the dudes we should be trying to get our message across to. Not their monkeys. Wouldn't surprise if they know fook all about what's going on.
SamL Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 "Everyones (Fosse Boys) a kid that no-one cares about, you just have to keep screaming until they hear you out".
MC Prussian Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I do wonder whether boycotting a game would help... What if there were only 4 '000 to 5'000 people at the Walkers for a league game? Wouldn't that indicate something to the management?
davieG Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I do wonder whether boycotting a game would help... What if there were only 4 '000 to 5'000 people at the Walkers for a league game? Wouldn't that indicate something to the management? A boycott would produce nowhere near that degree collapse in the support. Besides if we carry on like we are doing it wont need a boycott it will collapse naturally no one's going to want to pay circa £30 to watch a team that's more likely to lose, has players wanting to leave and with little or no knowledge of who actually owns the club.
AndyBrew Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 to be quite honest who gives a fook about the fosse boys they tried and failed now fook off back to school. they had no balls at victoria station and obviously aint grown any since And to the people that say why don't they just move to L1/K ......... Please see above I rest my case I wouldn't want my family anyway near this kind of person!
1964FOX Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 And to the people that say why don't they just move to L1/K ......... Please see above I rest my case I would want my family anyway near this kind of person! This guy would be at the top of L1 and we would locate at the bottum of K so I don't think that would be an issue, it would also be easy to get him banned once identified. I think the problem with K is that the young lads can't really afford the extra cost as they tell me the tickets are more expensive.
AndyBrew Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 And another thing...... Although the Fosse Boys get a lot of support both on the Internet and within the stadium, very few are actually prepared to stand up and be counted to help make a difference, I genuinely believe that many aren't happy but there's a degree of apathy that means that nothing will change However I agree with davieG LCFC are on a course of self destruction, and out of those ashes maybe something good will come out of it.
1964FOX Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Andy hopefully you have had a good nights sleep and you will not be taking the option of not attending games. I thought in the first half yesterday the few of us who sat and sang created a fair bit of noise, we also had the 20-30 people come and join us mostly of our age and sing some classic old songs. They obviously enjoyed it and I think that is the way forward, slowly the numbers would build and the section would become a Kop singing section. I think Davie G and others have suggested similar erode as well. Even if it's just you and family, me and family, croftfox and Jo-Jo we will have a good time and have our kind of match day experience. I do believe however that people would join us and the group would grow. We can't let the hard work of all the lads be for nothing.
easilee Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 to be quite honest who gives a fook about the fosse boys they tried and failed now fook off back to school. they had no balls at victoria station and obviously aint grown any since Ay up. Have you finally learned how to lift your knuckles from dragging on the ground and actually have a go at writing? On a computer thingy too. I'm impressed you f@cking goon.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 The club is really taking the p!ss out of us "fans" I'm not apart of the Fosse Boys although I'm behind them 110%, when it comes to generating some atmosphere. Many have tried and failed but this tiny acorn could of seen a mighty oak grown, I feel like if things carry on throughout the next month then a good old fashioned protest outside the ground in a flash mob style could be our answer, Not just for the Fosse Boys but for how our football club has turned into this vile corporation.
purpleronnie Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 So what are the options now? Are you communicating with the club? Can you still move to a different part of the ground even if it means ditching scarves/banners?
AmyLGK Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I fully support the fosse boys and I would be there upstanding and singing with you if I could, but I live so far away its very rare in get to any games! However at the few games I've been to in my Life I have always been mortified at how quiet everyone is and tend to be the only one making any noise. Following one such event is decided that I wanted to start a group specifically to chant and sing throughout the entire game. I actually turned round to the fans around me to say that no wonder we keep losing if we can't even get behind them! My group never took off though-12year old girls in the 90'S didn't carry much influence I'll be getting my back side to Leicester in the next few months and will make sure to join you. Keep up the good work - you're the lion heart the team are missing.
C-man Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Honestly believe that the 'Supporters Not Customers' banner will grab enough support from other City fans to give the Fosse Boys an advantage. Bring it to the next couple of games and stand outside the Kop before kick off. A LOT of fans will back the group.
Disco Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 What a load of old Crap, if they think its to noisy get them to move to the Main Stand !!!!!
Webbo Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 This year I really feel like I've been mugged what with having to purchase my ST so early on only to find a successful manager has been manoeuvred out of the club and the less than transparent poorly executed takeover that is still in the air. 100% correct. At this point I seriously doubt that i'll be renewing next season.

Bring it to the next couple of games and stand outside the Kop before kick off. A LOT of fans will back the group. On the subject of a boycott, as we all know the club will still put the attendance out at Season Ticket holders plus away fans even if no ST's turn up, to make some impact perhaps we should consider a boycott of the cup 3rd round fixture should we be at home? or perhaps a well co-ordinated display of standing in SK1 with more banners, with the greatest respect to the FB they had little or no time to sort something out before Reading, I will gladly stand and support them at the Cardiff game so come on FB, perhaps a presence in all 4 stands eventually? then see the stewards scratch their heads.
1986reborn Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Middlesbrough fan here. I was at that game and thought the Fosse Boys where excellent throughout the match. Showing passion for the club is clearly what you have banded together for but the problems you are facing seem to be a mirror image of what we are and have gone through, over the last few seasons. Letters being handed out?...........we had that to :- My link............clicking the letter makes it readable. That came from our very own safety officer..............absurd. I feel your pain and you must be strong and keep the faith in your team and what the group are trying to do. I will also send an email of support for your group. Good luck........KTF.
AndyBrew Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Thanks for the encouragment So how are you finding things now, have your numbers increased? We seem to have lots of support but translating that into numbers in the ground is difficult. Good luck for the rest of the season

We seem to have lots of support but translating that into numbers in the ground is difficult. Good luck for the rest of the season it's always going to be difficult when the club are trying to make you out to be a bunch of criminals and trouble makers. Have you made contact with the Foxes Trust yet? I know many and myself included mock them from time to time. but they approach from a different angle and have the respect of many others that may not see things from the perspective that you aren't out to cause trouble. Because the clubs actions yesterday were well out of order
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 For Our Sakes Stay Ere But On Your Seats Did You Really Need To Format It Like This ?
Bugg Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Did You Really Need To Format It Like This ? Did you not notice he did it in that format to spell out Fosse Boys?
