lildave3 Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 I always thought it was '1 nil down who gives a fook, we're Leicester boys and we're going up' or something like that. This topic confuses me. Everything confuses you.
1964FOX Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Correct. Must admit I was partially inspired by this vid when getting it going on Saturday though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZAUqgxMgG4 these videos just make me realise how much I miss the atmosphere of old stadiums. We have to win tomorrow and draw a small club with a terrace in the next round. I am assuming there will be some left in of course. Bring back the late seventies/ early eighties(except the dodgy haircuts) I really hate what football has become, it makes me so angry we are not hooligans we are fans. Let us support our club with passion you tossers.
L1HT Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 been told a load of you cyber supporters have been moaning about the 1 nil down chant so had to come on to educate you do none of you know the origins of this from cheltenham leeds and lancashire away? few leicester at cheltenham leeds on the sunday (way before the stupid supposed allegiance with cheltenham about a conga) and its obviously an adaptation on the 15 points leeds thing. then at lancashire away just after we got relegated at stoke fair few leicester travelled and were drinking in salford when man u turned up giving it the biggun about relegation, and the "were going down, who gives a f..." was out in force, they all thought we were leeds and what happens next i cant post on here but lets just say our lads did us proud. then at fulham away it was just changed to "1 nil down" instead of going down i don't know any Leicester fans who don't know about the salford thing which just about shows what a meaningless and minute proportion of Leicester fans are represented on these message forums. i bet none of you even know the To His Horse song, and i'm pretty sure none of you will know the meaning of it, the forums blatantly full of teenagers oh and another thing, i'm glad your 'ultra' fosse boy thing didn't workout, you were never gonna get people chanting in one of the disabled ends. 500-800 stand every game in L1, dont know why you tried taking that on. if you were to have had any chance you should've been INCLUSIVE not elitist. you might have got some numbers from young kids who are too young for L block and fancied it if it wasnt for all the scarfs and nonsense like that. fair play for calling it 'boys' so that women can't join though
AoWW Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 Ooh, look, someone being a knob and trying so desperately hard to get a reaction. With luck you'll just be ignored and treated with the disdain you deserve.

tomtom Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 One nil down who gives a fook ? well i fooking do for a start !!! A round of "come on leicester " in the good old days normally did the trick ,but i must say i was really impressed when the fosse boys came out with "don't worry about a thing....." chant These boys are bringing some good new songs to the kop,..... Keep it up boys !!

And i'm not a teenager
Fosse Boy Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 I wish I was a teenager. How my boyish good looks have faded over the past two years...
Yokofoxes Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 One other thing; the Japanese have a mainly pescetarian diet. If meat is eaten, it's beef, as most other animals are seen as unclean. That is all. Maybe I am missing something being new here but this is nonsense. Plenty of chicken and pork eaten in Japan.
Jimmy Posted 21 September 2010 Author Posted 21 September 2010 Maybe I am missing something being new here but this is nonsense. Plenty of chicken and pork eaten in Japan. I think the point Lisa was making is that Abe defiantly won't "eat ya fooking dog"
Yokofoxes Posted 21 September 2010 Posted 21 September 2010 I think the point Lisa was making is that Abe defiantly won't "eat ya fooking dog" Probably not seeing as he isn't Korean. Although I wouldn't put anything past those scummers in Urawa.
Asha Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 do none of you know the origins of this from cheltenham leeds and lancashire away? few leicester at cheltenham leeds on the sunday (way before the stupid supposed allegiance with cheltenham about a conga) and its obviously an adaptation on the 15 points leeds thing I really hate Cheltenham. To some extent, when I hear they've lost I find myself fucking delighted for all of three seconds before I realise every Cheltenham fan was probably more interested in our game anyway.

Finnegan Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Probably not seeing as he isn't Korean. Although I wouldn't put anything past those scummers in Urawa. ... wait, what? And my favourite Japanese dishes are chicken and pork.

Guest Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Maybe I am missing something being new here but this is nonsense. Plenty of chicken and pork eaten in Japan. There's always one..... As Jimmy has kindly pointed out, I was trying to make a point about the Japanese not eating dogs. I didn't really see the need in discussing Japanese dietary habits in detail, so didn't write out a list for the benefit of attempted nitpickers. Just a few points... I used words like "mainly" and "mostly"; I did not say "exclusively". There is a difference. It's very dangerous to make assumptions based on omissions. For one, I never mentioned whale meat, which by your reasoning I would be suggesting isn't eaten in Japan, whilst most people are aware of the attitude towards critically endangered marine mammals as food. Did I say the Japanese don't eat pork or chicken? No. Chicken is poultry. In the kind of circles I move in, and certainly in the places that I shop, meat and poultry are two different things. Certainly, a fair few of my non-meat eating friends make the distinction, being quite partial to KFC and all that jive.
Finnegan Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Didn't realise people had been singing that til I read the other thread. Sad. Not repeating the rant but I pray it doesn't take off.

Did I say the Japanese don't eat pork or chicken? No. You said "if meat is eaten it is beef." I just didn't find that to be true. I didn't realise at first this was a reference to a terrible chant about dogs but i did add "maybe i am missing something" because i thought i might have been missing something, which i was.
Yokofoxes Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 ... wait, what? I have a passionate hatred for the Reds and all things Urawa based. Bunch of feckless Man Utd wannabe scumbags. Was very disappointed when Abe left JEF to go to them. I was actually at his last game for JEF, albeit in the away end cheering for my boys, Yokohama.

Meat is the flesh of any living animal, and poultry is a term for domesticated birds,of which we obtain meat from.Just to Nitpick
Finnegan Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Fair enough, Yoko. Am not clued in to the J-League so it seemed like a fairly leftfield rant haha.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 The 'Yuki dog' chant got an outing yesterday. That being said, the selection of chants yesterday was so limited you could count the originality of them on a person who's had their fingers amputated
Raj Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Atleast the deadheads aint singing about not surrendering to the IRA or about tw@ts who kill Coppers!!! We should just stick to singing "iwan is a Welshman"....
