MC Prussian Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Home fans complaing about chants not being "fitting" enough? ... Meanwhile in China, a bag of rice has just turned over.
Corky Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 I disagree, time wasting douchebag. I only heard it in the first half, and quite early on as well. No time-wasting involved at that point.
acooling08 Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 I only heard it in the first half, and quite early on as well. No time-wasting involved at that point. It was when their keeper went down after making a catch..
Guest Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Seriously, anyone who thinks "1-0 down...." is even mildly amusing needs to have a think. I'm sure the players love to hear the fans not giving a fook about losing a game. And anyone (Matt) who dares to reply with something along the lines of "you can't win when you you sing, you can't win when you don't" is going to get both barrels. There are better songs to sing when going a goal down, and I have done in the past. I would like to in the future.
Shrenchel Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 The "Let Him Die" chant I would rather see disappear. Wrong. Decent chant to the right cvnt.
smudger63 Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Sorry but I don't see the point in the FBs over in that corner, surely if you sat in the cop you could stir up more noise? Well, they are in the kop, and they are definitely stirring up more noise, and i think that the kop slowly beginning to find a voice again, is in someway helped by these guys and gals, so BIG UP to the fosse boys, good on ya!
Guest Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 One other thing; the Japanese have a mainly pescetarian diet. If meat is eaten, it's beef, as most other animals are seen as unclean. That is all.
philce Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 The "Let Him Die" chant I would rather see disappear. I think its more tongue in cheek as Kenny was taking the piss. Then after playing dead, having his head/ankle treated, ankle wrapped in tape for 5 minutes, he then proceeds to go off the pitch for a drink, Tosser! Strange how he could kick the ball from his hands but not from the ground? Twat!

Fox92 Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 that song is ****ing stupid when we are in 20th place it was funny in League 1 when we were running away with the league but now its just stupid and annoying To be honest I agree with you. I didn't hear it yesterday though.
phillthefox Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 I love this song and brings atmosphere to the ground. sounds better away when there just a 1000 or so singing so it doesnt get lost among 20000
Guest Mee-9 Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 I love this song and brings atmosphere to the ground. sounds better away when there just a 1000 or so singing so it doesnt get lost among 20000 Yeah I agree with this. One thing that really pisses me off with the atmosphere at the Walkers, is the groans when theres a misplaced pass, or something. That's got to be worse than a harmless bit of fun.
lou Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 OP is right. It's a fvcking awful chant which rivals left side/right side. Yes Yes Yes!! Totaly agree with Jimmy et al who hate this stupid chant! (1 nil down...) and no, I dont sit and boo OR not sing at all, just dont sing either of these 2 as they are a joke! I, for the record, DO give a fook! It doesnt bring anything other than embarrassment. <_<
Fosse Boy Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Worked alright at Palace in my opinion. Not much point when you end up singing it most weeks though. Just stick to more traditional or original chants in support of your team (I wish it was that easy for some).
Guest Bilo Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Every Little Thing >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1-0 down
Ozwin Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 I always thought it was '1 nil down who gives a fook, we're Leicester boys and we're going up' or something like that. This topic confuses me.
Mee Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Lets be honest, any noise is fine when we are 3-0 down, like at Palace. Yes, maybe it is repetitive, but its better than booing and groaning.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Every Little Thing >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1-0 down Correct. Must admit I was partially inspired by this vid when getting it going on Saturday though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZAUqgxMgG4
Guest Bilo Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 I haven't posted owt serious on this thread yet, but suffice to say I'm not a fan of this bloody song. It worked when Leeds did it, because the 15 points deduction was imposed upon them and it was obviously sung as a two fingers up to the FA and Football League. Our version is dull, cringeworthy and tired now. It kind of worked in League One, as it was pretty clear from Christmas onwards that we were indeed going up. But now? Struggling like shit at the bottom of the league with the manager under a spot of pressure? It'd take a maniac to predict us going up right now, never mind the archetypal brave man. It may be defiant and cocky but it's absolutely witless. Every Little Thing by contrast was perfectly timed with spirits flatter than Lincolnshire after the second goal and helped to lift the mood, among us at least. I'd much, much rather that song took the place of 1-0 down.
Mee Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 '1-0 down, lets give up....., cause we're the Leicester boys and we're all fook ups.
