nothin2seehere Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Reversal of the situation on Tuesday, we were 2-0 up and an extra man. Pompey fought back and I think we will be pushing them hard by the last 10-20 minutes.
Jackirius Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I can't believe anyone is standing up for Sousa any more. I really hope he turns it round but by the end of the night we'll have 5 points from 8 games Not standing up for him im just saying we cant blame it all on him when you look at how we are playing, quality doesn't just immediately sap from a player. 7 out of 11 players on the pitch look like they would rather be in the pub having a pint.
DB11 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 ? We're fooking shit tonight and deserve to get totally raped on this performance, but seriously DB? *stonewall*? At the moment it happened my gut reaction was "red!". At the moment of the foul when vitor brought nugent down he was 18 yards from goal, clear run, with berner behind him.
Wymsey Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 why did sousa change a winning team that did well on tues????
Guest ttfn Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Saying it after a couple of games is bloody idiotic, there is no way you can know for sure how it's going to go after 3 games, anyone calling for his head then is as stupid as someone who's not worried about what's happening now. We have played well in more than one game, Coventry, middlesborough, Reading second half, palace second half and the cup games. He still has a few games left before it's chopping time, the board need to be thinking ahead. The palace second half was irrelevant. I was at the boro game and we were slightly better than them but hardly good. I missed reading and cov. Andpeople were questioning him after 5 games, not 3
Wymsey Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 by how things are looking lcfc will end up looking like wymeswold fc in 50 years time
broughtonblue Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 why did sousa change a winning team that did well on tues???? think he has a cunning plan
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I've always wondered who cuts Kitsons hair. It's always a very poor cut
Jackirius Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Sousa can't be directly blamed for players ****ing up - but it is happening a hell of a lot more to the same players than when NP was in charge - says something to me about the mindset of the players. And he has had plenty of opportunity to sign players who could play in some of the clear problem positions we've got. He's been in charge of 2 other championship teams so should know the quality required, and hasn't sorted out RW, RB or got a good enough CB in to replace Brown. Yes i do prefer NP as a manager and his style of play but im just saying the players have seemed to have lost all their ability and that does not go from a new manager being introduced.
Pegosteve Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Which manager would you prefer on the touchline tonight Cotterill or Sousa... he's like an extra man for them?
Babylon Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 The palace second half was irrelevant. I was at the boro game and we were slightly better than them but hardly good. Wymsey Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 watching lcfc totally not for the feint hearted
broughtonblue Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 after berners crap pass then, bet sousa is wondering if waghorn could play left back
Guest ttfn Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 People were questioning him after one game, you should take a look back. If that was the case, then fair play. I was actually pretty encouraged after the second half against palace. Can't understand why he hasn't changed anything yet
The Padster Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 People were questioning him after one game, you should take a look back. Cheers Babylon, your posts have said what I can't be bothered to type on a phone!
colbo68 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 What was that shot from Oakley! Absolutely no belief he was gonna score there.... None
Stand UP... Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 after berners crap pass then, bet sousa is wondering if waghorn could play left back Berner is the only player so far to come out of this slum of a game with some credit, along with Dyer until he put him in CM!, King being the only other good player as said previously.
Wymsey Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 i bet now really dyer now regrets signing a big contract extension after just one day tbh
Leicester_Mad Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 fook me that would have been some goal
