Kitchandro Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 He did not save us. There is no way we would have gone under. ****
wurmer Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Such a contrast with our fans Delivered on this one .... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Milans-back-and-hell-do.6548614.jp?CommentPage=3&CommentPageLength=10#5617056
demon_dog Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Probably a complete load of bullshit but I will tell you what I heard today. Milan has called in all of his interest free loans to the club. ( no big surprise there as most people know he wants out) However I was also told that his interest in Portsmouth is bullshit. He is using it as a smokescreen until he receives the money he is owed from the club. He will then clear off back to the States, as the Taxman over here is getting very close to nailing him and Redknapp for financial irregularities. He feels that if he is in the States the Taxman will not chase him for payment. As I said could be a load of crap, but you never know.
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 And people were slagging me off for having a vendeta against him and suggesting conspriacy theories against him. It does take people a long time to catch on.... Same here. If he didn't take over, we'd be in a similar situation to Sheffield Wednesday currently...really such a bad thing?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 He did not save us. There is no way we would have gone under. **** You seem to know a great deal about the situation we were in prior to Milan taking over the reins at this club. Please enlighten me as to how you have this knowledge, and the financial details you must have at your disposal, which must contradict all we were led to believe.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Same here. If he didn't take over, we'd be in a similar situation to Sheffield Wednesday currently...really such a bad thing? You mean playing in league one?
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 You mean playing in league one? Yep. Seasons of Championship struggle followed by relegation to League One. Bar last season, hardly any different from the actual reality. The season where some still felt the need to heavily criticise our manager. Oh yeah...we probably wouldn't have £40 million worth of debt as well.
Mack Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 The bloke is a media whore. I bet he had a cheeky hand shandy when he found out Pompey vs foxes was on the box, then came in his pants when we drew them in the Carling Cup so he could spend all week hanging around whipping up rumours and media attention. Smiling and waving to the crowd while the team you are supposed to be in charge of are 6 down is a fooking disgrace. He could'nt give a shit for us anymore, all he wants is his dosh and he will be down the motorway quicker than Rooney on a promise with a South Coast OAP brass. I used to back the bloke and have respect for him, but I now see him for the joke he is. What about all that bollocks about getting old and neglecting his family and business interests back in the USA? I mean Pompey is so much nearer! Full of shit!
Onions Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I fail to understand why everyone is getting in a pissy about him waving to the crowd. It's clear he is a Portsmouth hero, and he obviously love the club. We were 6-1 down, and people seem more annoyed with Milan, than the players awful effort. If we were winning 6-1 and Milan waved to the crowd nobody would have noticed, he's stepping down as Chairman and has been for a while, and even if he wasn't it wasn't like he was dancing around each time they scored. The crowd were chanting his name all night long, as he waved. So what? Why are people making a huge issue out of it. I was at the ground and I tell ya what, Milan waving wasn't on the top 30 things of what went wrong that night. All blown out of proportion.

I was at the ground and I tell ya what, Milan waving wasn't on the top 30 things of what went wrong that night. All blown out of proportion. Couple of points. We were getting absolutely murdered, and when our players see that twerp smiling and waving to the crowd what sort of message does that send? Because to me it says do what you like lads because I could'nt give a fook. Secondly he might want to be Pompey's savyiour, but right now he is Chairman of LCFC, and acting all jolly and happy with his old chums is disrespectful to LCFC and all the fans who have paid good money to support the team home and away so far this season to be served up on the whole a steaming pile of turd.
Onions Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 I think the players are more to blame than the Chairman. it's the players fault for getting hammered 6-1, not Milans. Him waving to the portsmouth crowd had no impact on the result as we were already dicked. Just leicester fans wanting to blame him once again.

And do you think he spent the whole week talking to the administrators at Pompey and the players could see it all going on had any impact?
Onions Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 The players should be professional enough to ignore that, if at all true. They are paid to play football, not watch and see who milan speaks to.
m00nie Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 And do you think he spent the whole week talking to the administrators at Pompey and the players could see it all going on had any impact? hardly... its the chairman who everyone knows will be stepping down soon.. that wont effect the players.. it if was the manager maybe as they work closely with him.. but guess is they hardly have much to do with with milan.. nothing thats going to make there concentration be affected anyway...
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Onions, say if one of our players or manager waved at the crowd during the game....would you're reaction be the same? The way he's used the media this week has been disgusting...most other personnel at the club would be bombed out and hung on the cross (ala Oakley at Pride Park).

Dr The Singh Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 his actions have been disgusting yes but that shouldnt effect the players perfoemance.. Agreed, he should atleast catch verbal gonerhia for those actions, if not verbal piles!!
Mack Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 It naive at best to think a Chairman with his head turned in another direction does not affect the players. Footballers are not factory workers, they are spoilt, often immature and have in almost all cases never done a proper days work in their lives. In addition as anyone will know that has played competitive sport minds have to be totally focused in the same direction from top to bottom to have success. This season has been less than settled ever since the kitchen sinks decided they wanted a flash harry name in charge and Mandy felt obliged to shift on a Manager that was obviously very popular with the players. LCFC is a fooking mess from top to bottom right now and be sure that amongst the players there will be talk and uncertainty.
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 his actions have been disgusting yes but that shouldnt effect the players perfoemance.. I agree but he certainly made decisions in the summer which has effected the players as a whole this season. However, there is an argument with the players....using Portsmouth as the other example of Mandaric selling onto a foreign owner who made his fortune off a suspect deal, certain players must be a) worrying how long before they are replaced by name players and ii) will they miss payments on their salaries like what eventually happened at Pompey. The players are as equally as suspect of the whole takeover as us the fans. Basically it's hardly ideal conditions for morale and confidence.
the new guy Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 he saved our club and kept it going dom't forget this
Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Milan Mandaric interview being aired in a few mins on RL
Tilley Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 'Leicester supporters should be proud to have a chairman like me.'
Fox You Forest Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 The man is just unbelievable, "Leicester City supporters should be proud to have a chairman like me".
Matt Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 Fuk off Milian I am not proud to have a chairman like you in charge. And no if you went to Portsmouth and you came back to the Walkers sorry to disappoint you and your HUUUGE ego I don't think many fans will be chanting your name.
Webbo Posted 27 September 2010 Posted 27 September 2010 . And no if you went to Portsmouth and you came back to the Walkers sorry to disappoint you and your HUUUGE ego I don't think many fans will be chanting your name. Just what I thought.
