Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 fook off Thailand. Lets keep it slightly-related to Leicester.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Who Gives A Flying ****? Call it what you frikkin want, you're not, legally obliged to call it the Singha Stadium with your mates? What, you want us to reject the lucrative money that'll be paid to us for the rights? Jesus, some people are total fockwits when it comes to things like this. Shocking if true. Be a **** laughing stock. We are **** English Suppose Arsenal fans are up in arms for their non-english sponsored stadium, and Coventry. Forget the money eh, other fans focusing on our stadium name is worth it's weight in gold.
Samilktray Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Shocking if true. Be a **** laughing stock. We are **** English this Prat.
The Doctor Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Shocking if true. Be a **** laughing stock. We are **** English edl! i'n all seriousness that is the most retarded post i've read on here for quite a while - and i've seen quite a few samilktray posts recently.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 edl! i'n all seriousness that is the most retarded post i've read on here for quite a while - and i've seen quite a few samilktray posts recently. Well I agree with him.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Well I agree with him. Making you just as retarded as him then
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Making you just as retarded as him then No. The Singha Stadium ranks highly above the worst stadium names ever. Possibly as bad as Gay Meadow.
lavrentis Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 I think Ill refer it as the SS to avoid the embrassment
The Doctor Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Well I agree with him. do you not think that the "we are english" bit is a pretty poor arguement to not have a foriegn stadium sponsor? Who cares what the nationality of the sponsor is - just as long as they can provide more £ in sponsorship money which could then potentially go into svens transfer kitty. Also it's not any worse than walkers stadium.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 No. The Singha Stadium ranks highly above the worst stadium names ever. Possibly as bad as Gay Meadow. Then I sugggest you don't ever say it, read it, turn the TV on mute when it's going to be said then. Quite why you'd want us to turn down the money we'll be getting just because it's be named the Singha Stadium is beyond me. You care far too much about what other people think of us. To be honest I really cannot see anyone other than those sensitive souls who care what our stadium is called caring. No other fans will bat an eyelid. you'd have thought we were changing our name to Singha City by some of the reactions on here, it's absolutely ridiculous.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Well I agree with him. Thankyou,
lcfc_jme Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 We should just name it "The Singh's Stadium". That'd draw in major poon.

I just want to be known as an 'English' team, these new owners have come in and that name makes us sound like a team from Thailand. Im struggling to get my point across clearly, but Singha kinda takes away our identity. And in Milktray's defence, as much as i may not agree with all of his posts, on the whole he is a good contributor, a far better poster than you. I think that your a bit of a retard.
Houdini Logic Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Sounds wicked - stop moaning Onwards and upwards
Samilktray Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 And in Milktray's defence, as much as i may not agree with all of his posts, on the whole he is a good contributor. I think that your a bit of a retard. I totally agree.

I was suggesting we keep it as the Walkers. At least thats Leicester related. I wonder if Malcolm Glazer is thinking of re-naming Old trafford, the Singha Stadium, because of money. Or if the new Liverpool owners, Want to rename Anfield, 'The Standard Chartered Stadium'

You know, whenever I see Arsenal play at the Emirates Stadium, I always wonder 'Why aren't that team playing in the UAE, they sound so Arab!?' It's just like their identity has been taken away.

I wonder if Malcolm Glazer is thinking of re-naming Old trafford, the Singha Stadium, because of money. Or if the new Liverpool owners, Want to rename Anfield, 'The Standard Chartered Stadium' Money The stadium is 8 years old, and it's always been sponsored, and always been referred to by other fans as the Crisp Packet, Crisp Bowl etc, in my eyes, that stadium hasn't had any massively memorable matches to warrant 'traditions' Now if you were on about re-naming Filbert Street, maybe I'd be on your side. But jesus, IT'S JUST A NAME!

I think that your a bit of a retard The edl thing was a joke & i fail to see how "the walkers" is leicester's identity or how the possible new stadium name (not heard anything confirming this is actually the case - the original statement was from twitter wasn't it? hardly a reliable source) makes us sound like a thai team. edit: no it was from TB but my point remains that this isn't definately happening.
davieG Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 No. The Singha Stadium ranks highly above the worst stadium names ever. Possibly as bad as Gay Meadow. Nothing wrong with Gay Meadow, a good old traditional name based on the actual location of the ground and why we should be playing at the Raw Dykes Stadium.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Nothing wrong with Gay Meadow, a good old traditional name based on the actual location of the ground and why we should be playing at the Raw Dykes Stadium. Yes, don't give people ideas..

Firstly, if that was the case, Sarcasm obviously doesn't travel well on a computer And 'Walkers' is a Leicestershire company. Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure Singha has nothing to do with England or Leicester.
