Jimmy Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 What do you mean by not at the races this season, hes hardly fooking played and when he has its been of the bench. Waggys played nearly every game and fryatt still has more goals,so what does that say. What is some peoples problem that every time we lose its fryatts fault, surely if we let 4 in its the defences fault not the strikers All the strikers are having problems scoring, even the ones who play a full game. This fryatt bashing is just getting fooking sad Waggy played most of them on the wing
ibbosuk Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Well I think Fryatts crap but every one here thinks he is amazing so i think let him play the next 10 games and then we can all see him exposed as out of his depth, league 1 striker nothing more! I say if the majority of foxes talk think he is amazing lets run with him and let him hang himself, non committed and lacks interest but hey I am a minority NO ! I have always known he was a 3rd tier player.
stivesfox Posted 26 October 2010 Author Posted 26 October 2010 You werent the idiot woman who phoned RL a few weeks back claiming Leicester lost as Matty wasnt in the team. He's hardly played cause he is crap and is on the bench for a reason. I am not doing a compariable of Waggy and Fryatt, and lets put this in to context the Fryatt love gang complain there beloved matty is playing on his own up front, Waggy has been playing on the wing. Fryatt has been at our club many years and flatters to decieve in games he has played he has looked uninterested and off the pace.We arent looking to analyse the back four, the point treacle I am trying to put accross is how Fryatt on these message boards is treated like he is an important player to the team, and over rated. What is getting fooking sad Treacle is the Fryatt is wonderful, Fryatt is hard done by posts, I for one really hope Sven has a top quality striker to come in and Fryatt is left out the squad and made to think about weather he wants to put the effort in and work for the team. Not at the Races Treacle is meaning when he does have an opportunity he is no better than a top quality sunday league striker. I aam not slating waggy and i dont slate the rest of the team either, they lose as a team and they win as a TEAM. I just find it rather sad that so called fans like you just pick one player and literally rip him apart in every thread, even when other players play worse than what he does. But carry on mate belittling players mate if it makes you feel good
smudger63 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 No my first game missed in 2 seasons, I am all fr Fryatt playing the next games guarantee a return of fook all and watching him play makes no effort, and his body language expresses he does not want to be here, I just get so fooked off how people think he is some god, and great footballer, the person who posted he was no more than a league one striker is absoloutley spot on. I think fustration with Fryatt is his lack of effort granted there are even worse players than fryatt in the squad I just think its a little embarrasing the defence of him. Obviously fryatt can`t be held responsible for tonights defeat, but i`ve got to say, in my opinion, your spot on with his body language. He dont look a happy bunny does he!
Guest Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Let's tie him up by his pullstring! LET'S SACRIFICE HIM TO OUR GOD!!!! ... Come on, we did it all the time in the '30s. Brilliant work If you can work these into a chant you'll be loved by some on here It's like Honda Raposa never left. Ahhh the bad old days
rabbid Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 NO ! I have always known he was a 3rd tier player. why dont people listen to this poster - he actually knows football
conradno1 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I read this first sentence of your post and then immediately stopped reading at this point. Lost all credibility why dont you support barca? inter? man u ? because only world class players are good enough for you, not just fryatt uyou say king waggy hobbs are rubbish aswell
Shrenchel Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Sometimes good, sometimes bad... Most of the time painfully bloody average. But let's face it that sums up most of our team. Aye. Some of our fanbase somehow find him fvcking hypnotising though. My uncle maintains he's one of the best strikers outside the premiership and he wouldn't sell him at any price. Daft cock.
cityfan94 Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 FOR **** Sake, why are you blaming fryatt on the reason we lost 4-1 tonight. he hasnt really had a chance this season to do anything, but he played the whole of macclesfield game and most of norwich (red card) and scored 4 goals. could of got hat-tricks in both games. have faith in him for god sake, sousa didnt and thats why hes not performed so far this season, if sven puts his faith in him im sure he'll started baggin them in again.
Houdini Logic Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Aye. Some of our fanbase somehow find him fvcking hypnotising though. My uncle maintains he's one of the best strikers outside the premiership and he wouldn't sell him at any price. Daft cock. The thing with Fryatt is that he has shown flashes of brilliance, but that was so long ago and since then - if you avergae things out - he's probably in the negative in overall performances. Thing is I believe that if a manager can get the best out of him he will be one of the most dangerous strikers in this division. I think that is what a lot of people hold on to

I think you will find if you read the thread that nobody is blaming him for the defeat some people just don't think he is much cop! I for one don't think there is anything wrong with his ability it's his attitude I would question!!! Oh and I think he came on as a sub at Norwich!
demon_dog Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I have stated in the past my opinion of Matty Fryatt. I feel that tonight however is not the night where he should be critiscised for his game plan. By the time he came on it was to late to make any impact anyway, thanks to our crap second string goalkeeper. However I have heard many players and former management rave about Fryatt regarding his skill while training. I used to play darts in a team where one of our players was red hot. Every throw was never less than one hundred and he never missed a double, all this while practising or warming up for a game. However as soon as the game started nerves got the better of him and he was at best only average in the ratings every week. This probably is the problem with Matty Fryatt. As former managers have stated ( and we have had a few!) he is a confidence player. In my opinion this is not good enough. You need to be ruthless and clinical with your finishing, as was shown tonight, I just hope that Vassel can show these traits, otherwise we are in for a long hopeful season.
accessory Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 During his time at the Walkers (less than five years) Fryatt has played under TEN different managers, and been crap under every single one of them! Some sections of the fanbase seem to think he is another Gary Lineker, maybe because they're way too young to have seen Lineker play. Fryatt is literally not in the same league. While it's absurd to blame him for last night's defeat, at least the debate about who's the better striker out of him and Simon Cox has been well and truly settled. I predict Fryatt will be shipped out (probably to Coventry) within the next six months. You read it here first!
Cat Burger Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 He's basically scored one in two for the past two seasons and has 4 in 8 this season... He has his weaknesses, but he's 24 and has scored 60+ goals since for us since 2006 and is our longest serving senior squad member. Previous posters are right; a move MAY be best for both parties at some point, for now though, he's a striker and a person who deserves the fans respect. Two seasons ago we were in the shit and a fired up, motivated, appreciated young lad dragged us out of it. There's no reason why he can't do it again if the simpleton fans who think we're Man City get off his back.

It's a 2-way thing, and perhaps people would forgo his short comings if he had actually bothered his arse this season and not disrespected the fans or the club through his performances. Those that can defend what he has done after his antics against Coventry, QPR, Norwich and Swansea are in need of a reality check. The sooner this charlatan is dumped the better, all this adulation he receives from the BAMs and he regualrly sticks 2 fingers up by not trying, people need to get some self respect.
AndyBrew Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 He's our best centre forward. oh god we are fooked then :-(
Lcfcman2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Sometimes good, sometimes bad... Most of the time painfully bloody average. But let's face it that sums up most of our team. THIS. First time sitting in the Kop last night in the disabled part as the east wasnt open and from what i saw when fryatt came on he was constantly moving around looking for the ball. I think after his injury he hasn't been the same and lost all confidence. A run in the team and i'm sure he'll be back to "mostly good" "sometimes bad". He isn't good enough to get us out of this rut by himself but no one in the team can claim this. All shocking, as for Abi, well.... We just need someone whos going to bloody shoot!!!!
OzFox Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Some sections of the fanbase seem to think he is another Gary Lineker, maybe because they're way too young to have seen Lineker play. Fryatt is literally not in the same league. Lineker missed his fair share of sitters. Had he played in the days of internet forums, he probably would have been ripped to shreds every other game I often wonder if the club has a policy on players reading forums like this. It would hardly do wonders for their self confidence. I'd put money on Hobbs and Morrison being regular browsers, based on performances so far On that note, if you're reading this Matty I think you're great! Well, sometimes anyway....

How very dare you Are you comparing seriously Fryatt to Englands's second all time leading goalscorer who played in the top flight in England and Spain? You are in need of help when it comes to rating football players
FossePosse Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 According to soccerbase 164 Leicester league appearances (including subs) - 51 goals take away league one stats 46 league apps - 27 goals championship record 118 appearances - 24 goals - 1 in 5 - FACT
Babylon Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 I hope he fecks off, mainly because of sick of hearing about him.
