shailen Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 weale naughton - hobbs - vitor - berner dyer - wellens - king - gallagher fryatt - howard subs : oakley, waghorn, vassell, logan, morrison, neilsen and moussa
Father Ted Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Weale Naughton Morrison* Hobbs BernerMoussa King Wellens DyerWaghorn N'Guessan (if fit) Subs: Logan, Vitor, Kennedy, Abe, Gallagher, Fryatt, Howard. * Assuming Davies isn't fit. I would give N'Guessan a go upfront. He has pace, power and strength and reminds me of a young Heskey. He can also win his fair share of headers and is a long-term possible replacement for Howard. I remember watching Mclean for Peterborough giving Wayne Brown a right runaround last season. Waghorn and N'Guessan would give Brown the run around and bring Fryatt and Howard on later on to really wind him up.
Kitchandro Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 I was being sincere, the poster I was addressing seemed to be of the impression that Wellens was our best attacking asset from the midfield. Oh right, that's what you were saying. Didn't really get that. I rate King. I did not say 'he is our best attacking asset', actually. I think Wellens is one of our best players, he can tackle and is one of the few who can see a killer pass. And yes, I think this is an important asset. King is more of an attacking threat in the sense he can score goals, which is very important. But I think people would realise what Wellens brings to the table if he wasn't playing. Abe on the other hand - well he seems more of a passenger. At this point he has done nothing to suggest he does more than Wellens and King, nor has he done anything to suggest that he would be more important than another striker up front.
lcfcbradyboy Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 weale naughton vitor (davies if fit but i think hes going back villa through injury) hobbs berner (cunningham was shit against swansea) oakley king wellens dyer howard waghorn bring on vassel at the end

StanSP Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Ikeme's on another 30-day loan spell. Tunchev is back in training. Davies is struggling to be fit. Decision on whether Vassell will play will be made on Friday. All of the above from Stringer's Twitter. Looks like Tunchev will play on Saturday, as the lone defender. (he won't. Nearly everybody on here will know that he won't)

!-LCFC-! Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Logan, Lamey, Moreno, Hob..... No, wait. Weale Naughton - Davies (if fit) - Hobbs - BernerAbeMussa - Wellens - DyerKingWaghorn Subs: Howard, Vasell, Cunningham, Vitor, Fryatt & ??? doesn't really matter, no one else is any good i think the only bad idea about the squad is playing howard up front by himself because when sousa was in charge 1st few games he played 1 striker up front and we didnt get anywhere so i think it is a bad idea play with only striker.
!-LCFC-! Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 MY XI ------------------Weale Naughton-Vitor-Hobbs-Cunningham ------------------------Abe Dyer---------------King------------------Moussa ---------------------Waghorn ----------------------Fryatt where's davies??? he's great!!
!-LCFC-! Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 injured. is it major or minor??cause he's only on loan for a month
StanSP Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 is it major or minor??cause he's only on loan for a month Think he's going back to Villa and won't play again in this loan spell for us.
davieG Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 From the OS The cup-tied players, Curtis Davies, Kyle Naughton, Greg Cunningham and Martyn Waghorn come back into contention for a start, but skipper, Matt Oakley is still injured. Davies is unlikely to be risked due to a hamstring injury, and although newcomer Darius Vassell is fit and could feature, questions remain over his match-fitness.
The Doctor Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 weale naughton hobbs vitor cunningham dyer abe king moussa fryatt waghorn subs: logan, morrison, berner, wellens, moreno, N'guessan, howard.

lcfc22 Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 WEALE NAUGHTON DAVIES HOBBS CUNNINGHAM MOUSSA ABE KING DYER WAGHORN FRYATT
yag101 Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Weale Naughton Vitor Hobbs Cunningham Wellens Abe Dyer King Moussa FryattBench: Ikeme, Berner, Moreno, Gallagher, Vassell, Waghorn, Howard 4-2-3-1, With Wellens having a few less defensive duties and playing slightly higher up the pitch than Abe, sort of like a deeper lying playmaker.
Ashby Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 It is a year ago today that Leicester won at QPR who had just won their last 5/6 games. The team that day Weale Neilson Hobbs Brown Berner Oakley Wellens King N'Guesson Waghorn Fryatt Only Brown who has left Do all the changes that have taken place this season actually help?
marbelladave Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 It is a year ago today that Leicester won at QPR who had just won their last 5/6 games. The team that day Weale Neilson Hobbs Brown Berner Oakley Wellens King N'Guesson Waghorn Fryatt Only Brown who has left Do all the changes that have taken place this season actually help? In most respects no they have not! Some new players have been brought in, but Sousa had far to much on his plate to integrate then into the team and now Sven is bringing in his own men, we have a squad that contains far too many 'fringe players' and nowhere near enough 'nailed on' starters. Still, we are where we are and we need to move forward, so for saturday I would go; Weale Naughton--Hobbs--Vitor--CunninghamAbe--KingDyer--Moussa--VassellWaghorn If Vassell is not yet ready then I am a bit stumped, normally I would put Gallagher in the hole and Moussa wide, but Gallagher has shown nothing this season and Moussa looks much better through the middle so I am reluctant to do that...
carterfox90 Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Weale Naughton Vitor Hobbs/Davies Berner Moussa King Abe Dyer Howard Waghorn sounds good to me just as long as the team that steps over the white line beat preston as we so need 3 points tommorow
artursteppe Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Weale Naughton Davies (if fit) Hobbs (if not) Vitor Cunningham Moussa Abe King Dyer Gally Waggy As much as i hate Gally being in there, I want Moussa playing centre mid again and theres not a better option Dude, you got it. Abe is quality, only those with a genuine insight into the game can see it at the moment (others will follow and then claim they always liked him ). Vitor only needs to improve his man-marking in the box and he could be an absolute star. Moussa was a revelation in centre midfield against the Albion. NB The only three players Sven named after the match as having played well were Abe, Vitor and Moussa. I know that I am very rarely wrong about anything, and my really good friends get a bit fed up with it. Those who aren't friends think I'm an arrogant bastard. This could be the time for anyone reading this post to tell their friends how they've noticed what true quality these three players are - then when they can actually see it for themselves ( which could be anything from a week or two, to months or even never depending on how dim those friends are ), your friends will think you a star and others will think you an arrogant bastard!
