Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I believe that the end of August 2010 until early May 2011 will be the season defining period.
marbelladave Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I agree with you Dave but I don't think the transformation can take place in the remainder of this season. Next one perhaps! That is of course a very sensible view, far too sensible in fact!... Look at our last 3 away games, before the Bristol game and given our improvement under Sven, a prediction that we would get a win and acouple of draws would have been considered quite conservative, those 5 points would have put us to within 1 point and 1 place off a playoff spot. Even a fairly short run of good results can make a huge difference in this league...
Asha Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I think all four games will be called off, so yeah, not really. Winter break please.
chavdonk Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 i don't see why we can't win all four games, we have the ability, bit of optimism would be nice instead of typical leicester fans pessimism
ibbosuk Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Not optimistic at all. I think we'll lose to Hull and Millwall and might gather as few as three points from the four games. The place is sounding too much like a sodding circus to me and there'll be more comings and goings than at a brothel in the New Year. Hull and Millwall look like defeats, Leeds & Swansea 4 Points = 4Pts from a possible 12 Pt's. = Season just about finished (REALLY HOPE I'M WRONG) Results MUST improve!!! PRESSURE ON!!!
shade Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 12 comfortable points. I get sick of everyone saying before every game "someones due a thrashing" and then we lose, so I'm going to join the ridiculously annoying optimists. so yeah, 4 wins.
EIEIEIO Posted 25 December 2010 Posted 25 December 2010 Through all my time watching football the christmas and new year period is the most important period of the year. The pitches start turning and the great team who can actualy scrap too come through the other side the better. The likes of Man U (hate to say it) are great at this....they are able to grind teams down and win by any means. Martin O'neil was a master at it, even a Celtic and Wycombe. He liked strong technically gifted players who would role their sleves up when it was needed. Too many players just can't seem to roll their sleves up in teh modern game. Anyway back to the Christmas brandy! Fred
Wymsey Posted 25 December 2010 Posted 25 December 2010 I sound dull i know but having players that want to leave the club will not bring any positivity into the team at all and bring up the player's confidence to play well together, so i believe we will only get a point away at Millwall and lose the others.
Daggers Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 4 points. Massive introspection and wailings that more dramatic changes need to take place followed by a slow dawning realisation that promotion is not happening this season.
Callabinho Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 We will loose all of them, Millwall i said would be a loss Hull i can't see us getting anything Swansea a draw at best but cant see us winning,
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 So 7 points from the 4 games. Pretty happy with that, probably as good as we could've expected.
themotivator Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 im still angry about the bloomin ipswich game.
