MOT Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 My Targets Julian speroni = 0.5M Richard Dunne (Capt) = 3M Jimmy Bullard = 1M Akos Buzsaky = 2M John Carew = 4M OR Emile Heskey = 3M Speroni - I reckon you'd be able to afford him, but there might be Premiership teams in for him, he is a quality keeper. Dunne - Don't see why he'd drop down to the champ tbh, and if he did it'd be to a side pushing for promotion Bullard - Crocked all the time, stupidly high wages, why would you want him!? Buzsaky - Maybe Carew- 0 chance, do you seriously think you could get him!? Heskey - If you offered him a four year contract with good wages it'd be possible. Although doesn't Houllier rate him?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Are there any Dirty Leeds cast offs we could buy?
Bausor Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 my targets ashley williams 2.5m Or richard dunne 2m or micheal jonson 1.5 m or mark davies 1.5m jamaine beckford 1m or jason roberts 1m/
i luv u foxes Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 i still believe matty fryatt can get the goals for us he did it for the two previous seasons but alot of people at our club are very thickle as they always have been
MOT Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Are there any Dirty Leeds cast offs we could buy? That would improve your squad? Bradley Johnson is on the transferlist, he wants wages we aren't willing to pay. Could do a job for you. We have too many strikers if you fancy a bid for one of them, they'd all get in your side I reckon. Somma, Becchio, McCormack, Paynter, all do different things - although all have signed contracts this year You can have Amdy Faye
MOT Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 my targets ashley williams 2.5m Or richard dunne 2m or micheal jonson 1.5 m or mark davies 1.5m jamaine beckford 1m or jason roberts 1m/ None of those would come. beckford is the only Everton striker to score in the premier league, why would Williams leave Swansea? Johnson said he wants to go to Leeds Here Davies who's playing regularly for Bolton?? Or Roberts that is playing regularly for Blackburn???
5waller5 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 i still believe matty fryatt can get the goals for us he did it for the two previous seasons but alot of people at our club are very thickle as they always have been Brilliant!

MOT Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I'd take Becchio, the rest can fvck off - especially the mound of crap that is Johnson. Least likely to join, seeing as he has just signed a new deal. The other three strikers are better than what you have, though. Somma has 7 goals this year in about 10 games and struggles to get on our bench! Johnson is gash though and he can go for me, rumours of Stoke and Bolton wanting him
ScouseFox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I'd take any of those 4 strikers you've mentioned. If Sven isn't going to play Waggy, Fryatt's on his way, we have the grand total of Steve Howard and Darius Vassell who would play up top in our current formation. Paynter was prolific in league 1, could be good if given a chance. Somma's had a knack of getting goals this season. McCormack got goals in this league for Cardiff. Becchio, as much of a cvnt as he is when on the opposition, would be great, but very unlikely to happen.
karl rudham Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 MATEJA KEZMAN AVAILABLE ON A FREE TRANSFER I BELIEVE.
Bugg Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 MATEJA KEZMAN AVAILABLE ON A FREE TRANSFER I BELIEVE. THANK YOU WHY ARE WE SHOUTING???
SMX11 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 0 chance ( ), 0 chance ( ) and probably no chance. You'd be more likely to sign Keith Treacy, Cureton, and Chris Morgan. Money talks, but I even admit they are a bit optimistic. However I think Adam Hammill would be the most realistic.
Zingari Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 i still believe matty fryatt can get the goals for us he did it for the two previous seasons but alot of people at our club are very thickle as they always have been if that portmanteau word is not in the dictionary then it fookin well ought to be

Bugg Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 If you're so fucking good why aren't you in the premiership? They should be, I mean THEY'RE LEEDS, the BIGGEST CLUB IN THE WORLD, they're champions of Europe even though they never won the trophy you know.

ibbosuk Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Who would come who's definitely better than is already here? Looking at the goals we're still shipping despite 3 loan signings at the back, 4 including the dreadful Kirkland, I don't have loads of confidence that signings are the answer. We need to change our tactics, particularly away from home - I don't know if Sven's too set in his ways to try 4-5-1 (or its variations) in an attempt to keep things tight, and stop shipping goals but its shamefull how he keeps doing the same trhing time after time after time and expecting the outcome to be different Oh, and don't cling to the 17th/18th place, most teams have two to three games in hand on us, so back near bottom 3 is probably more realistic I hope Spend-Göran Eriksson doesn't turn out to be Peter Taylor in disguise. Squandering millions and leaving us in the cart!!...:sweating::sge::sweating:
Thracian Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 EXACTLY!!!! Finally somebody around here finally get's it Look at QPR, the richest club in the world - they're not linked with ridiculous has-beens and journeymen, they're not out-spending the division throwing good money after bad, you can't buy a successful team at this level you have to build a team, which progresses together This division is notoriously hard to get out of, the players need to be up for a fight every single game, how motivated are players like Carew, Thierry Henry, Ljundberg etc going to be in a freezing cold Tuesday night game away from home in the middle of Feb. Sven is showing that he doesn't know this division, he needs to show flexibility in his tactics, particularly away from home, and he really needs to grow & progress the players on our books, like Hobbs & Waghorn, sure they have no right to play every game, but to be given the cold shoulder is naive if you later expect them to slot in and do a job for you. Some good points in there.

I think you'd be surprised by the amount that's been spent by QPR.
Edmund Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 After the game Sven said that a couple of players are already a a done deal. Got a felling it's Naughton and Bednar.
