Dylan Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Weale Naughton Morrison Hobbs Berner Abe Wellens King Dyer Waghorn Vassell Subs: Logan, Mee, Oakley, Moussa, Gallagher, Howard, Schlupp. Berner in to replace Cunningham. Don't think you can drop Morrison/Hobbs after a good clean sheet, so Mee on the bench. Same midfield 3 of King, Wellens, and Abe. The front 3 will be the real question. Don't think Gallagher should start- he's poor atm. Wouldn't want Howard to start, and definitely not Bednar. I'd start with Vassell, Dyer and Waggy. Feel were one striker/winger short with Fryatt leaving. Don't think Howard is a starter, and Bednar IS shit, meaning we have to choose a starting front 3 from Dyer, Waghorn, Vassell and Gally. With Gally being completely shit atm, he must be dropped. I'd bring Mee onto the bench, along with Schlupp- I'd definitely prefer him on the bench over Bednar's attitude. Another win would be great. Anything less would 'cancel' the hard work to win away at Hull. Swansea have won their last two games: both at home, to Barnsley and Reading. However lost the two before that, both away, at QPR and Sheff Utd. Reckon this'll be won by the odd goal. Prediction: Leicester City 1-0 Swansea City (King; the best fooking welshman on the pitch )
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Weale Berner Hobbs Davies/Morrison Naughton Dyer Abe Wellens King Waghorn Vassell Subs: Logan, Mee, Davies/Morrison, Oakley, Moussa, Bednar, Howard Vassell's much more effective playing as a proper striker, Waghorn deserves more playing time (what's the point in keeping a £2m signing on the bench?), Gallagher needs a rest (and some time to think about his playing style).
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I'd give Fryatt a go. We need that clinical ability upfront. And I hope Ben Mee's decent. My Namesake, but I'll look like a twat as I have Mee on the back of my shirt if hes crap
Brooksy Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Wheres Heskey? Yeah agree with that team, Gally is so fustrating at times. Gonna go for a 1-0 win. Morrison from a corner
Drift Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I'd give Fryatt a go. We need that clinical ability upfront. Now I know Sven likes loan players, but come on
Guest Bilo Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I worry about their pace, it really did hurt us at the Liberty. We need to be organised and solid at the back if we're going to pick up the three points, in spite of their lofty position they can be hurt at the back as their 4-0 pasting by QPR shows. If we hurt them with our pace, we can get the three points but it'll be tough. I'd take a draw.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Whoah when did this happen? Was he interviewed after the match tonight or something? Did he say anything about being pushed out of the side by Vassell? When did Fryatt go? I think someones photoshopping.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I quote you in real life 'I'm such a WUM on FT' Game. What you on about?
Mee Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 What you on about? I don't know if you were being a WUM , or just a complete twat.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I don't know if you were being a WUM , or just a complete twat. Probably the latter.
Jackirius Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I don't know if you were being a WUM , or just a complete twat. Brotherly love.
Mee Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Probably Always the latter. Back on topic - stick with the same team - Bruno in for Greg. Would love to see a win in this one.
Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 I think the biggest thing to take from today was that Vassell was played in the middle and scored. He played in the middle for most of the Doncaster game and scored. For almost the whole of the rest of the time he's played he's been on the wing - and been anonymous. Sven must continue to play Vassell in the centre.
acooling08 Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 I will easily take a point from this; Swansea are a very good team. I reckon we can get a point too.
dpjfox Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 we might have bamba by kick off id go with unchanged team tho, i think we can win this 2-1 Vassell King

Guest ttfn Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 Swansea are the best team I've seen us play this season but are in an average run of form. Draw would be a good result
dannythefox Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 Leicester to win 2-1 this will be a tough one but we have great home form and will be coming off the back of a good win so lets hope for all 3points to get the ball rolling for the new year.
davieG Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 With Morrison & Berner lacking match fitness, this 2nd game coming so quickly will require a greater level of commitment to their defensive duties from the forwards and midfield if ever a game needed to be defended from the front then this is it. That said I wouldn't like to see Mee or Bamba, if he signs in time starting. Gallagher in front of a knackered Berner is a worry.
