LCFCmatt Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Ive just seen about that scumbucket de jong's stamp on wellens' hand. Apparantly he grinned at wellens after doing it and ran off. He needs to be banned for a while in my opinion
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 It wasn't really a stamp. He trod on him and it may well have been deliberate but he'll never get banned for something as innocuous as that. If it was deliberate he disguised it pretty well.
bjblyth Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 He's an animal and he committed a number of offences today. The FA need to keep tabs on players like this and have hefty ways of disciplining this kind of behaviour. De Jong = Disgrace to the beautiful game.
bjblyth Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 On the other hand though, Wellens took an absolute beating throughout todays game and carried on regardless. I'll bet he's aching like a bitch tonight because he really was in the wars at some points! What a hero
LCFCmatt Posted 10 January 2011 Author Posted 10 January 2011 Wellens is targeted by whoever comes here. For the past 2 seasons he's been here he has been the most fouled player statistically
bjblyth Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Wellens is targeted by whoever comes here. For the past 2 seasons he's been here he has been the most fouled player statistically I don't think it's the fact people target him, I think it's the fact he gets stuck in. Which I admire.
LCFCmatt Posted 10 January 2011 Author Posted 10 January 2011 From the Mirror website: Wellens said: “It was a little stamp on the hand. He didn’t speak, he just gave me a little smile. “He caught me right on the knuckle so it was a painful one – his studs went into my hand. “Everyone knows he’s a physical player.”
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 broke xavi alonso's ribs, broke ben arfa's leg disgusting player

Taking it like a man
Kitchandro Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 There's no doubt De Jong is a dirty bastard but I don't think it was a really obvious stamp. It looked an accident at the time and on the replays. But I haven't seen the 'smile' so I could be wrong. I think it's a case of his reputation preceding him. If Milner or someone like that had trodden on his hand I don't think we'd even see it as an issue. But as I said I may be wrong.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 De Jong is a nasty piece of work. One of the few players I don't like. El Haj Diouf is a monster though, fooking hate him so much.
cc_star Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 It was like he took the opportunity to tread on his hand rather than try & avoid it. It's a shame he is at times just a thug, because if he was just physical he's the sort of player fans love to hate in a panto villain kinda way
Haydos Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Not too sure either with this one. He is scum though. You don't break 3 players legs and nearly decapitate someone by accident.
LCFCmatt Posted 10 January 2011 Author Posted 10 January 2011 Wellens needs to stamp on his face in the replay. I wouldnt mind a go myself.
StanSP Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Wellens needs to stamp on his face in the replay. I wouldnt mind a go myself. I'd rather see De Jong get both sets of studs get caught in the ground as opposed to our own player getting punished!
Toby or not Toby Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Did anybody else see the kick Wellens got in the face from Tevez which gave him a nose bleed? The foul went the against wellens!

Bert Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Don't any of you lot see how many fouls richie wellens buys? That's why he's the most fouled player.
StanSP Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Did anybody else see the kick Wellens got in the face from Tevez which gave him a nose bleed? The foul went the against wellens! The foul was for the tussle with Tevez as the kick didn't seem deliberate (not in my eyes anyway) and the kick came just as the whistle went.. I admire Wellens for just getting on with the game and not writhing about like some players do these days.
morris1234 Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 i would happily give nigel de jong a swift punch to the ovaries!!
Bryn Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 de Jong is a vile little player, but Wellens showed him up last night, and the one chance de Jong had to redeem himself, he stuck straight into Chris Weale's brave, on-rushing body. Loser.
wolfgang amadeus Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Didn't think it was that bad, looked painful but it happens all the time.
