James_lcfc Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Words cannot not describe how much I'd love to see Pat Vieira dominating in a City shirt!
StanSP Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Words cannot not describe how much I'd love to see Pat Vieira dominating in a City shirt! He won't dominate in a City shirt. Actually, he won't dominate.
James_lcfc Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Doubt he'd even break into a sweat in the Champo' mate. I could be very wrong, but there's no point in lying, I'd love it if we signed him!
OmnipresentSam Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 I can feel Leicester's wage budget shrinking just thinking of signing Patrick Vieira!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 I don't really understand this one. After watching Abe and Richie outperform him just a few days ago where does the interest come from? I'd take him but only on a pay as you play which I very much doubt he would settle for.
Islandmike Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Not sure we really need Vieira, Not even sure he would sell more shirts!! Yakubu in leicester as I type.
Babylon Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 I looked on a few city sights and saw no mention of this, now considering they mostly live in Manchester you'd think someone heard it other than the OP.
crazylegs1984 Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Suppose we had no choice to buy/loan him since wellens has him stuck in his back pocket !
JamesLCFC Posted 12 January 2011 Author Posted 12 January 2011 Anyone got a link to this as nothing is mentioned on neither the BBC or Sky Sports websites? [/quote/} As i said this was said on the radio....
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Everyone knows it's just a rumour that won't materialize into anything, but that doesn't mean we can't discuss it with a tongue in cheek mentality. These days, we can't really say that about any rummour with any certantiy can we? I though he was retiring at the end of the season anyway?
Petchy Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 I think you answered your first question with the second That's why I don't think this'll happen as I don't think he wants to play on much longer.
hackneyfox Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 He is, and may have a future at Man City within management, but as he won't play many games for them he could be tempted by coming here for a lst hurrah.
leicester4life Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Bobby Manc will have words, telling him to play half a dozen games for us and then make him assistant manager. Would be a decent signing, as a short term measure and providing he didn't want too much money. No one remember seeing Roberto himself turning out in Leicester Blue and being a beast?
Leicfox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 He is, and may have a future at Man City within management, but as he won't play many games for them he could be tempted by coming here for a lst hurrah. Patrick Vieira is set to be offered a coaching role at Arsenal.
accessory Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 He is, and may have a future at Man City within management, but as he won't play many games for them he could be tempted by coming here for a lst hurrah. It would probably only happen if Wellens left. Can't imagine Sven wanting to break up the current central midfield unit.
