what about walshie?

someone with spirit, drum into the players to show more fight/heart

You don't need to be coach for that, just give him Jobbers drum.

Not sure how capable he'd be or if he would want it but I rekon Claridge is a shout.

Was player/manager at Weymouth so he obviously has some interest in coaching, although I do think I recall him saying on the FLS that he didn't want to manage.

I saw him at the Way before Christmas. He's gagging to get back into management now.

After failing at Pompey (under Milan Mandaric) and Millwall, he's desperate to prove he can do it.

but then you lose the jobber!

:dunno:

That would be a bonus then.

Has anybody heard anything about who Sven might want to replace Chris Powell ? I'm sure he will want a replacement - two 60 year olds (Faz and him) will desperately need a younger chap to run around on the training ground with the players - as well as run the Reserves etc, as Powell did. The only name that immediately springs to my mind, is Craig Short - ex Notts County Manager and Chris Short's (our new Fitness Coach) brother - he's out of work and a decent Coach by all accounts.

I would have thought there's a chance that one Peter Taylor might return to City. He's nearly on his way out of Bradford, by public demand and is a mate of Sven's. Whether he'd want to come in as Number 3 here though and whether he'd be welcome, is another matter.

Nah. We don't want him back ! And isn't he nearly as old as Faz - too old for running around with the likes of Dyer and Naughton.

in an ideal world, it would definately be WIlkins, but hes more of an asst manager now. Bruno, Steve Howard, Muzzy, Hamann,or combination?
