darko2k7 Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 He has already left to progress and be a number two, not sure why he would leave to take a step back. I don't think working under sven is astep backwards alot more limelight , did powell no harm.
spirefox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 No brainer :- Charlie McParland (Ex Notts County )and Tony Loughlan (Ex Notts County and LCFC Acadamy coach) both been released by Ipswich.
Stevosevic Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 I don't think working under sven is astep backwards alot more limelight , did powell no harm. But Powell was already here as a coach and remained as a coach. What benefit would it be for Taggart to go from an assistant to a coach, he want's to be a manager so it wouldn't make sense.
ajthefox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 No brainer :- Charlie McParland (Ex Notts County )and Tony Loughlan (Ex Notts County and LCFC Acadamy coach) both been released by Ipswich. One question, why? They clearly weren't part of a successful staffing team at ipswich..?
spirefox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Simple Answer -Roy Keane .They managed a stunning win against Arsenal this week.Loughlan was very highly rated before he left.
broughtonblue Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Ray Wilkins Great shout, had some stats on SSN the other day. Ancellotti win rate at Chelsea with Wilkins was 74%, without is11%. must be something in that. Decent bloke as well
muzzy1981 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Walshy is far too optimistic, does anyone remember his commentary appearances on Radio Leicester during the relegation season, "so what do you think of our chances walshy" "I think we'll win today" we got relegated with him commentating. Don't get me wrong, he's a legend at the club and we all love him, but he shouldn't take a job at risk of ruining his damaging. Of course this is purely "ifs and buts" i do love the guy though. If walshy had any thing about him he would have been properly involved by now. He ain't got it up top, he needs to stick to what he's good at, scoring headers and women!
muzzy1981 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Wilkins would walk in to most top clubs as a coach so would have thought he's waiting for the right opportunity. Worth a go though, who'd have thought the Yak would have come.
davieG Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Someone who's not a defender, let's have an attack minded coach, we've already got Faz an ex defender. Muzzy would be decent option.
fosseman Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Doesn't it depend on what the roles are? Maybe Sven will reassign areas of responsibility between Faz and AN Other.
Tommy G Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Agree with DavieG but has Muzz got any qualifications?
davieG Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Agree with DavieG but has Muzz got any qualifications? If he hasn't he can get them on the job.
Fox1651 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 TAGGART is a good call ( and i dont mean the detective )
Len Finsbury Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Tim Flowers has recently left Stafford. Perhaps a return's on the cards?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Peter Shilton? Shows he can still move on strictly
????? Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Agree with DavieG but has Muzz got any qualifications? Powell didnt have any when he started coaching.
