We are mid table in the championship! At least 10 out of the 20 teams in the premier league would want him!! It's about time some people realise we are lucky to be linked with players of his quality you sound like Leeds fans who think they should be in the champions league still and everyone thinks there arseholes as well!!

He'd be a slightly better version of Dyer, but he really isn't as good as the odd person in here has made out. His control is terrible, he can't pass and he can't shoot. Constantly giving the ball to the opposition would be a problem too. And **** knows how much money he'd want to basically play for the opposition every week.

He's better than Dyer, but I have serious doubts about him. In a team that's pretty good at maintaining possession, he doesn't really fit in. He's the sort of player you have to build the team around, like Man City did when he was there the first time. Basically just play deep and smash it over the top for him to run on to. He's not done well anywhere else and that concerns me. It's a long time since he was that player.

artursteppe Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 For many years whilst watching England play my friends have heard me say that I wouldn't have Shaun Wright-Phillips on the bench at Leicester. He is nowhere near as good as we want. Overrated. OK he may just about be able to do a reasonable job in the championship, and if he should come I would be hoping my opinion on him has always been wrong. But, I'm sorry to say I ain't wrong very often.
