ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Why are are they repressing you? they are only following h&s law they are obligated by law to as you put it repress you , it's the same at nearly every club you will never change it . it only takes one serious injury to happen and the club would be in the shit if they had stood back and done nothing about it . That's the thing. Nearly every club. How come some can and some can't? And what the Fosse Boys are doing, could never cause a serious injury. Confetti is fvcking lethal though.
lcfcsnow Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 The whole thing is rubbish and it's laughable the fuss that us made over it. It sounds awful and doesn't even look good unless an away end does it, so i suggest using it as an away game celebration only after a goal;.
Bert Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 For fucks sake. The Fosse Boys do it, they got shot down, and are called too 'European', Manchester City do it, and everyone's bumming them about it. You lot copy them, and you love it! It must be okay, because another English team did it! Bloody hell you lot are ****** of the highest order. Wind your neck in,and stop acting like you're a big man, responses like yours will gain you no respect at all, especially when you compare it to Jamie's response, which is a top post. I've no intention of becoming a Fosse boy, I would like them to succeed in what they're trying to do. It's people like you that make others dislike the Fosse Boys. Though I hold a similar view to ACF and it's difficult to put my point across without sounding "arrogant" or "elitist", I'll give it a go. Yes I'm glad it's being done in the ground - frankly it looks damn good if a little odd in an English stadium and yes it did look good from L / K when it was done yesterday as well. It just irks me and really is a shame that when it was originally done here it was branded stupid and nobody wanted to join in simply because the people doing it are " different ", yet now it's deemed the best thing since sliced bread because another club did it on a large scale and everybody wants a piece simply because it's being started in a section where there's a drum. Again, I can't understand why the Kop needs to take its inspiration solely from L and K just because there's a man in there with a drum when there's a decent enough group of lads stood right next to them singing what are essentially the same songs. That in itself only serves to create a divide, in my opinion. You lot can call me arrogant or elitist if you want - I've certainly been called worse on and off of here - but that's just the way it is according to what I saw yesterday. If the Kop gave the Fosse Boys half the time they give to L and K, the atmosphere in the ground would improve ten-fold as there'd be a continuous stream of songs being started by both sections. Just a thought. ^^^and just to the above poster, I think the only "European" song sung in the ground yesterday by the Fosse Boys was during the Grecque, the rest were Leicester City songs past and present. Although I do agree I'm not particularly a fan of the change to the Iwan song, but that's mainly because my quads are fvcked to shit at the minute I think. Good post Jamie. I don't think anyone can criticise you for being honest.
darko2k7 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Flags, banners, confetti. All things removed from us by stewards this season. All things allowed in other areas of the stadium and other grounds around the country. You tell me the last time you saw someone injured or killed by any of those items at a football match? now i agree with you there the flags and scarves thing is stupid , it's only the standing argument i have issue with and the list is as long as my arm with serious injury and death cursed by standing and the in the other post about there wont be amass of noise unless alot join in well it will take a couple of thousand to make a mass and that amount standing for a entire match would be asking for it imo

I once saw someone throw bits of confetti at the opposition fans from the kop..... must've resulted in 3 or 4 people needing hospital treatment because they had caught fire.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 now i agree with you there the flags and scarves thing is stupid , it's only the standing argument i have issue with and the list is as long as my arm with serious injury and death cursed by standing and the in the other post about there wont be amass of noise unless alot join in well it will take a couple of thousand to make a mass and that amount standing for a entire match would be asking for it imo Well, there's easily a thousand standers spread out across the home ends at an average game. Plus much of the away end in many games. People standing up at football matches doesn't cause serious injury and death. It happens every week on a mass scale up and down this country and around the world
darko2k7 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I did not speak on behalf of the Fosse Boys, I spoke of my own accord. As Fosse Boy just said, I don't stand with them for location inconveniences. darko2k7, they have never 'spread shit', the club have treated them like shit, and I know if YOU were the one being mis-treated, you'd cause more of a fuss than these boys. They don't think they're 'better than everyone else', actually the opposite. It says a lot that you stopped your little game just to slag them off, with untrue details aswell. i did not stop my little game although i was watching porn before my bull shit alarm went off and redirected my brower mid stroke to read your arrogant crap so you can stop with your untrue facts too
ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 i did not stop my little game although i was watching porn before my bull shit alarm went off and redirected my brower mid stroke to read your arrogant crap so you can stop with your untrue facts too Sorry Fosse Boy for this. Arrogant? Pfft. I'm standing up for my OWN opinion, I'm allowed to do that aren't I ? The way things changed from one game is brilliant, don't get me wrong, I love Grecques, but its the attitude going from one opinion to the complete opposite in one game. I should be thinking that its brilliant how attitudes have changed, but I just can't.
Jackirius Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 i did not stop my little game although i was watching porn before my bull shit alarm went off and redirected my brower mid stroke to read your arrogant crap so you can stop with your untrue facts too Why do you even care? Seriously, grow up a bit.

darko2k7 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Why do you even care? Seriously, grow up a bit. I'm sorry iwill i was only trying to defuse it with a bit of humor no offence meant
AoWW Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Get back on that fence Aoww. I'm not on a fence - I think you're all behaving like twats. Now can I leave you all to play nicely or do I really have to leave the baby monitor turned on?
Phube Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I fail to see the point of a chant/dance/celebration that actively stops you watching the match!?!? I really don't get it? I can't be the only one!
Jacnah Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 How is that disabled-ish. Seriously. We/They are following a culture they believe in, their opinion of how they enjoy games, and are trying to spread it here. You lot are following the crowd? I'm not trying to be 'we're right, you're wrong' here, I'm just pointing out the obvious. everybody is following something or someone - even you guys. Nothing we do as fans in the stadium is going to be as original or uniquely Leicester. (other than the post horn gallop at the start of the game but that's almost a 'signature' type thingy). My point is that there's no point arguing about this kind of stuff..its moot as to what why or where it came from or who did it first or who takes their lead from who. What nobody is going to disagree with is that the atmosphere with the poznan or the scarf waving/jumping up and down bit is a million miles better than just sitting and watching...keep it up is all i say..
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 This thread made me laugh. Agree with Bert, JME hit the nail on the head.

Basically it's meant to be that you're showing your support for the team regardless of what's happening on the pitch.
walkerlcfc91 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 how a fosse boy can complain about anything baffles me when they are the biggest joke in lcfc history , the first time i heard about you i though there was alot of you and went to the scunny game thinking there would be this group making a big noise but it was nearly half time whe i turned to my bro and said whats that little noise ? o that's the fosse boys up there in the corner pmsl Walking around like they are better than the averge fan just because you sing afew songs and dance around like nobs . Think you have a divine right to stand and then when the club don't like it you have the cheek to make a massive fuss about it and waste their time having a meeting about it , and even damaging you club by sperdding shit about the media .NOBODY CARES !! . rant over that was hard work typing it out using PS3 browser so forgive the bad layout Absolute idiot. They're trying to create a bit of atmosphere at our morgue and you come on here spouting that kind of shit? Hope you enjoy your prawn sandwiches at half times anyway mate

Babylon Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Big man Says the man throwing his dummy out screaming "we did it first, we did it first boo hoo". How old are you, 14? The reason people didn't copy you is because you are viewed as lame kids by most (like it or not)... And it's not surprising with your attitude towards other fans.

MORGAN Posted 23 January 2011 Author Posted 23 January 2011 Whats the problem with standing?? If you look in Germany BVB Dortmund they have the biggest standing area in Europe. Every game there is in just ONE STAND 25000 people!!!!!!!! Thats more than we have at home games and I never heard about any accidents etc!! Its just the club trying to find stupid excuses for that. Flags, banners. How that can hurt anyone?? It would be much better if they will allowd to stadn for those who wanna stand, sing etc lets say in KOP. I think all that bad thoughts are from older fans. The Poznan/Grecques will have problem to spread becouse the other sectors from the L and K are occupied mostly people that are aged hmm 35+ and are bit to lazy to stand and join or are affraid of the stewards. Its more in the mentality. If you look at the away game in Manchester it spread allover their ground with no problems at all.

Dosent help when they give people bans when they join the group either. Also a little strange that they check everybodys ticket when you walk up the stairs just in front of fosesboys. Why do you think this is?
