MORGAN Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I have to say that L and K have done a good job. It looks really good from the opposite side. Shame that the KOP didnt catch this. Just keep it like that and after few games I hope it will spread to other sectors!
stu Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Personally I think it is really sad we have had to use another teams celebration (who stole it from another) to generate an atmosphere. Yes it may be mildly amusing, but why can't we come up with something better ourselves?! The scarf waving looks a lot better in my opinion.
Christoph Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Agree with scarf waving as being abit more original but lets be honest, everything is stolen from somewhere else. If it generates atmosphere, then im all for it
davieG Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 You should all get LCFC tattooed/painted on your arses and do a bit of mooning when we score.
wattolcfc Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Love doing the Poznan, who cares if it's 'stolen', everything is these days... you'll never walk alone wasn't sung by Liverpool first! Scarf waving is great too, i'm going to purchase a blue and white one in the next 5 minutes davieG, you stole that idea from me, i've been doing it for years
FoxyLouby Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I have to agree with the OP, looked ace from where I was sitting in C1. A few in the Kop and the Fosse Boys were doing too, not many but they were joining in. I was doing it too at Preston last weekend......and I liked it!!
ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 For fucks sake. The Fosse Boys do it, they got shot down, and are called too 'European', Manchester City do it, and everyone's bumming them about it. You lot copy them, and you love it! It must be okay, because another English team did it! Bloody hell you lot are ****** of the highest order.
The MayneFox Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 we were doing it a bit in SK3, and i loved it! cant wait to do it home and away!
Babylon Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 For fucks sake. But just cause it isn't inspired by the fosse boys, you complain about it.
stu Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 And why did we all start doing it? Because we were taking the piss out of the mighty Man City fans who were doing it after going 2-1 up, who then were pegged back by a Championship club when Kingy equalised. The same piss taking will happen to us at some point in the future as it just stinks of arrogance like the Man City fans were during the game. Anyway that wasn't my point, my point was that it is just sad that we can't do something ourselves or come up with anything new these days and have to resort to stealing others to generate an atmosphere. Its not just this though, there doesn't seem to be any new songs that get going these days either. Maybe thats just a sign of the changing times of the now day typical footballer supporters. *waits to be torn a new one*
ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Bore off. Big man. It's being done now, which is what you wanted people to do. But just cause it isn't inspired by the fosse boys, you complain about it. No, this is not what I'm complaining about, if you're able to read. I'm saying people complained about it, then do it themselves. I'm not complaining that it's being done, it's about the attitude of people. Read it properly next time, dick.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 For fucks sake. lcfc_jme Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Though I hold a similar view to ACF and it's difficult to put my point across without sounding "arrogant" or "elitist", I'll give it a go. Yes I'm glad it's being done in the ground - frankly it looks damn good if a little odd in an English stadium and yes it did look good from L / K when it was done yesterday as well. It just irks me and really is a shame that when it was originally done here it was branded stupid and nobody wanted to join in simply because the people doing it are " different ", yet now it's deemed the best thing since sliced bread because another club did it on a large scale and everybody wants a piece simply because it's being started in a section where there's a drum. Again, I can't understand why the Kop needs to take its inspiration solely from L and K just because there's a man in there with a drum when there's a decent enough group of lads stood right next to them singing what are essentially the same songs. That in itself only serves to create a divide, in my opinion. You lot can call me arrogant or elitist if you want - I've certainly been called worse on and off of here - but that's just the way it is according to what I saw yesterday. If the Kop gave the Fosse Boys half the time they give to L and K, the atmosphere in the ground would improve ten-fold as there'd be a continuous stream of songs being started by both sections. Just a thought. ^^^and just to the above poster, I think the only "European" song sung in the ground yesterday by the Fosse Boys was during the Grecque, the rest were Leicester City songs past and present. Although I do agree I'm not particularly a fan of the change to the Iwan song, but that's mainly because my quads are fvcked to shit at the minute I think.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 What jme said. His views accurately reflect those of the group on the subject. Would love to get it going as more than just a goal celebration. That would be truly making it our own in English football. Imagine all of us doing it at Derby away when our backs are against the wall and they're piling on the pressure with us hanging on to a slender one goal lead in the dying minutes (heaven forbid that scenario occurs, but you get what I'm saying). All together now... "Who the fuck is Derby County! Ay! Ay!"
ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 ****** of the highest order coming from a group of people trying to bring european songs to football, dancing left and right to the iwan roberts song and sticking stickers all round grounds home and away How is that disabled-ish. Seriously. We/They are following a culture they believe in, their opinion of how they enjoy games, and are trying to spread it here. You lot are following the crowd? I'm not trying to be 'we're right, you're wrong' here, I'm just pointing out the obvious.

darko2k7 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 how a fosse boy can complain about anything baffles me when they are the biggest joke in lcfc history , the first time i heard about you i though there was alot of you and went to the scunny game thinking there would be this group making a big noise but it was nearly half time whe i turned to my bro and said whats that little noise ? o that's the fosse boys up there in the corner pmsl Walking around like they are better than the averge fan just because you sing afew songs and dance around like nobs . Think you have a divine right to stand and then when the club don't like it you have the cheek to make a massive fuss about it and waste their time having a meeting about it , and even damaging you club by sperdding shit about the media .NOBODY CARES !! . rant over that was hard work typing it out using PS3 browser so forgive the bad layout
MATLCFC Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 It is a real shame though, any new ideas presented are met be instant hostility? Can't understannd why? Why does the Poznan for example need so much debate, discussion? It a celebration, it looks great! especially when done in numbers?! I just don't get it, hardly any English teams do it? so the argument for oh its not orginal makes laugh, I mean I always hear lots of originality.........................."Leicester till I die" or "Leicester, Leicester, Leicester" fantastic.......... I do appreciate what the Fosse boys are trying to do, get some originality back in the stands! Surely that can only be a good thing? It's a shame you can't some how spread the message to a wider audience, I'm sure more would join in if they knew what you were about???

We've always been keen to keep the club on side. Sadly, if the club continue to repress us with bizarre decisions and controls they've implemented in the past we're going to speak out about it. Would've thought most fans would do the same to be honest but oh well. By the way, the lad you're on about lives in Australia so doesn't really speak for the lads who stand with us at games.
ACF Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I did not speak on behalf of the Fosse Boys, I spoke of my own accord. As Fosse Boy just said, I don't stand with them for location inconveniences. darko2k7, they have never 'spread shit', the club have treated them like shit, and I know if YOU were the one being mis-treated, you'd cause more of a fuss than these boys. They don't think they're 'better than everyone else', actually the opposite. It says a lot that you stopped your little game just to slag them off, with untrue details aswell.

So instead of thinking yes lets join in with my fellow foxes fans you would prefer to as you put 'PMSL' at them *Claps* Obviously not everyone will want to do exactly what they want to do, but its just nice in my opinion that some people are willing to put time and effort into trying to generate some noise and atmosphere??

Why are are they repressing you? they are only following h&s law they are obligated by law to as you put it repress you , it's the same at nearly every club you will never change it . it only takes one serious injury to happen and the club would be in the shit if they had stood back and done nothing about it .

Flags, banners, confetti. All things removed from us by stewards this season. All things allowed in other areas of the stadium and other grounds around the country. You tell me the last time you saw someone injured or killed by any of those items at a football match?
