Conscript Fox Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 Coventry, due a home win do Swansea. Ipswich take their fine form to QPR and take a shock win, a draw at least. Preston somehow take a point at Forest. Leicester go and do Cardif, blowing the division wide open and arriving in the top six like a pit bull into a pigeon coup. Lump on. Yum Yum.
One Arm Babba Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 That would be great. I expect Ipswich to give QPR a good game due to QPR's injuries and suspensions for this match. Paul Jewell has them playing well at the moment. I have backed an away win but I think a more realistic result is a 1-1 draw. Swansea will do Cov, Forest will take 3pts against Preston. If we pick up something at Cardiff I think we should be happy. Another win would be insane... but why not
sdb Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 That might make embarrassing reading come 10pm tonight.
zubi Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 its that time of the year where we are predicting other teams results I cant see cov beating swansea, but a draw should be on the cards QPR v Ipswich has a 0-0 or 1-1 written all over it Forest are too strong at home... so preston will get annihilated
Haydos Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 That might make embarrassing reading come 10pm tonight. This.
cambridgefox Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 i dont know why,but Ipswich are worrying me a bit,ive got a feeling they could push into the play offs.Lets hope im wrong.i hate them!!

Not really bothered what other teams do tonight, I'm sticking to the mantra that 2 points a game will get us a playoff spot.... So, a decent performance and a point will do for me. Off down the M4 in a few minutes....

Conscript Fox Posted 22 February 2011 Author Posted 22 February 2011 I will be back post match to preach some more to you non believing cretins. You have known only defeat for so long at this club, you dare not even dream of what it would be to win. You echo each other in unison as a generation raised on failure alone. Tonight we arrive. Believe peasants. Believe.
leicester4life Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 This is some of the most positive thinking I've ever seen.

LCFCMickey Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 I've got a lot of time for threads like this.... some hilarious comments... it's just great to see a battle between relentlessly optimistic folk and the realistic pessimists. Either way, Up the City!

B52 Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 That might make embarrassing reading come 10pm tonight. Why should anybody be embaressed hoping for the best result for the club??? Before we got on the high everybody said it was an league were every team could beat the other. Now, when we are going up in the league, all the top 6 will win their games. Get a grip.... The bottom 14 teams are struggling for their lifes and the top 14 are fighting for play-offs or automatic. Scunthorpe, Preston and Ipswich are great examples that you can't write any team off until they are truly f*****d. Middlesbrough, Sheffield and every other team will take points of the top 6. Hope the seventh team goes undefeated...
LeicesterLuke Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 I know this is a long shot (Or is it) We could be 4 points off automatic by Saturday. I've used recent form in this table. Dont shoot me if you think its incorrect. Just my opinion.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 I'd leave our match out of it but there is definitely money to be made tonight. Few upsets on the cards. I especially fancy Bristol City and Ipswich both at 4-1.
Tom17LCFC Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 It's on the bbc website pal!...http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/predictor/default.stm

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 I know I'm a pessimist, but I would take a point tonight, and dont see us winning. Will be surprised if we dont concede, we may have conceded fewer lately but I thin kwe are still a bit prone at the back. Need to keep them quiet early on, which is what we failed to do in all our 3 visits there last season.
Socks Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 reckon we will lose Ricardos in goal and will make a right twat of himself and cost us the game... but we should aim for chopras ankle
