That's no defence!

I reckon Abe would've made a difference there. Lot of gaps just inside our area where i'd expect him to be covering. On to Cov anyway. Hope the players get a couple days off.

I reckon Ricardo could have done better with both, neither were hit very well.

Bamba was at fault for the first and Bruma the second, as defensive midfielder he should have been following Ramseys run.

Weale and Abe on Saturday, please Sven!

Sorry but he had no chance with the second one. The first one he was in the right place, but from the small video it looks like the ball hits the ground a few yards before him and bounces over his hand, really not easy to judge how a ball is going to bounce.

We should be asking why players weren't tracked and why Chopra was all alone in the box.

Both goals were poor defending, we started shakey in defencem, we kept allowing bothroyd and chopra to narrowly run offside and then we just didn't pick them up for the goals. Very poor defending still we played ok at times just lacked a cutting eadge, I feel this is a bitter pill to swallow A) because of the play offs and B) because we have not lost in a while! All is not lost! Keep faith

...which I did mention.

Ricardo didn't seem to get down quick enough for either goal, neither were struck with power or fantastic precision.

the more you look at the first goal, the worse it gets, 2 of our players jogging, when they could have closed the run into the box down

and LMAO

Take a look at the 2nd goal, the attempted block of the cross from the left wing....hands behind back and a forward kick, even though the ball went behind him, ..looks like he was trying to do a morris dancer impression.bless

onto the next game, 3 points pls against the cov scum

Didn t track the runner for the first and didn t close the cross quick enough for the second. Oh well...........still going to spank the chavs on saturday

Think Sven after the match last night said they would be getting today off.

i would get them in today and have 3 hours digging a big hole, then an hour filling it in again as punishment for our crap recent form, of only taking 22 out of 28points

I said yesterday that Bamba looked like he could have been tighter for the first, and Naughton looked strangely out of position for the 2nd & maybe Bamba could have been tighter again, because Mee made a reasonable effort at getting across but shouldn't have had to, but on reflection it was the covering midfielder's job.

Still, It's great we've got a home game. It will be great to see the players (& Sven's) reaction to a defeat because we haven't been tested with the squad in its current roster

I just hope we go back to playing with a higher tempo. I don't think we have done since the Man City games, except maybe against Millwall but I was drunk so I'm not sure on that one

Poor goals to concede but I don't see them as a massive issue.

They are both just schoolboy examples of marking and are more than anything down to a lack of concentration.

I'm unsure as to how much Ricardo could've done. Looks like he's making a big effort but for me I think his posession is probably the most questionable thing. There is nothing special about either finish but it seems like he is too close to the nearpost and despite the shots not being too far in either corner, he then can't get to them because he's scrambling.

Horrible ball watching from the throw in on the first, so amateur. Possibly Bamba and fault for not sticking to Chopra but to be fair it's brilliant movement and a good finish.

No idea what's gone on for the second, looks like the back line has been dragged all over the place and Naughton's eventually been caught out of position. Again, marking in the box is poor. Who is that in the D on the edge of the area? He looks at Ramsey THREE times whilst casually jogging back! Maybe he though Mee should be tight on him which you would expect but he knows he isn't and he's not shouting or anything.

Lazy and amateurish defending :(

Bruma.

on the second goal, you can see ramsey run from right next to richie wellens, he should have tracked him back rather than just standing there.....plenty of points to pick up and work on in training.

lets just bounce back with a good performance and convincing win against the chavs.

and please just get behind whoever Sven picks and not chanting for other players!! :D
