I know its not over yet but youve got to be as delusional as gadaffi to think weve got a chance what with our current form. Why insist on ricardo, mee oakley yakubu and vassell? Weale is quality, hobbs has more experience than mee and wouldnt have given that penalty away-the ball was going out! Yakubu is lazy and vassell is unfit, and weve got players like dyer and waghorn sat on the bench. Yes I know that sven got us off the bottom but that was WITHOUT the players he insists on playing at the moment. Trust me, svens stubborness is costing us the points. Sven just said ricardo wasnt to blame for any 3 goals today, if I was weale, and waggy id **** off elsewhere.

The more people keep going on about him being unsuitable the more it gets built up in everyone's head and so when he punches it's 'here we go again' when in reality he is basically doing very little if anything wrong. Hardly our most pressing concern at the moment is it? Find something more insightful to moan about and stop ****ing booing!

To be fair, I'd bench one of our most consistent performers of late just so we can recall an unhappy young CB to appease everyone in the stands. Definitely. Weale has been nowhere near the player he was last season, I'm not at all convinced by Ricardo but Weale hasn't been faultless by any means. Hobbs similarly, Mee's last few matches have been superb, he's an improvement on Hobbs (and I like Hobbs). We all know Yakubu isn;t going to run all day, I agree about Oakley and think Waghorn should be given a start now. To be fair, these players helped get us towards the top six from mid-table.

There is much Sven could have done differently, but his points per game since he took over in mid-October points is 1.76 (excluding tonight) which would be 4th if the season started then, so he's done a lot right

Filthy Fox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 in my opinion we were doing fine with naughton, bamba and vassell since all of the other loan signings and ricardo we have slowly gone downhill.. *nothing against ricardo but I agree with a lot said above, it is crazy that we are not playing weale, he was doing a good job!

Punches instead of catching, drops crosses when he tries to catch and claims a foul, consistently puts our defence under pressure by kicking it out to them when they don't want it, has now let 2 goals through his legs, doesn't command the box, the defenders have no confidence in him, kicked the ball straight out a few times today.

If he didn't we'd have one every game so get real. The bottom line is he's done a good job overall. What you're expecting though is no regrettable results altogether. It's football, you can't pinpoint the problems with every game and ask why we didn't win.

Little things like having just lost to three of the best teams in the division don't come in to their thinking. Bloody Ricardo and his punches that haven't cost us a point grrrr, bloody Ben Me and Bruma the best player against QPR, bloody Yakubu who missed chances (we should play Waghorn instead, he never misses and is really cheap).

I bet the majority of the players I mentioned in my first post will play saturday. I thought after waghorn scored against bristol he'd start at least the next game. The same could be said for ricardo after the cov game. I genuinely believe its because sven doesnt want to lose face
