The Doctor Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 I threatened the return of biscuit wars a couple of weeks ago in the "what are you eating now" thread. For those of you who don't know what biscuit wars is read this thread. You have until midnight on the 31st of April to enter your favourite biscuit for this tournament, already entered are the mighty custard creams and the reigning champions the cookie. One important point to make: while they may have finished runners-up last time out, jaffa cakes are not biscuits, only pseudo-biscuits and are not eligible to compete.
The Doctor Posted 31 March 2011 Author Posted 31 March 2011 The infamous chocolate bourbon. Pah, just a custard cream with chocolate and everyone knows custard creams + chocolate doesn't work.
Narborough_fox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 I raise you.... fox's extremely chocolatey biscuits;
StanSP Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 With chocolate bourbons, it works. Especially dipped in tea.
The Doctor Posted 31 March 2011 Author Posted 31 March 2011 I raise you.... fox's extremely chocolatey biscuits; decent choice in brand but no corporate biscuits can enter. No Al Biscuito Moderno. Nah, they're in.
Narborough_fox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 decent choice in brand but no corporate biscuits can enter. No Al Biscuito Moderno. Nah, they're in. Ahhh, good news I was replying. I was going to have to refer to the rule book and see if there was any loopholes and then the white font comes up. Made my day
Rocket-Ron Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Custard cream should p1ss it. Not worth entering
Asha Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 I don't know what they're called, but I'm entering those pink wafery things.
lcfcadam Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Not getting all the custard cream lovin - I usually find them to be a transcendental disappointment...
Webbo Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 The infamous chocolate bourbon. Good call. A worthy runner up to the obvious winner the fruit shortcake.
StanSP Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Good call. A worthy runner up to the obvious winner the fruit shortcake. But the fruit shortcake is a no-no for me
lcfcsnow Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Rich tea's. Chocolate coated rich teas that I struggle to find
ScouseFox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 The golden crunch creams. A better version of the more simplistic custard cream.
