Why the **** did we sell Gradel?!

You can't win with this. Pearson hangs onto players like Gradel and plays them = we probably wouldn't have got promoted and people would have been moaning like they have this year.

True say.

What you've said summarises my feelings about the issue. Alright some people may have rated him but there wouldn't be many suggesting a year later he'll be on his way to 20 goals this season and possibly playing in the prem next. He's had a fantastic 18 months which would more than likely have excelled the expectations of most.

Turns out it was a mistake but who's to say he'd have progressed the same here? Anyway, it's been done to death so that's all i'll say for now.

It has been done to death so I wont labour a point.. for me the fact is that some players want to play for some managers and vice-verca. When we sold Max it was good business both for City and for Max. That he has done well at another club shows the potential he had, but, as importantly, something present at Leeds that enabled him to realise it....

Pearson and Gradel didnt get on so he had to go. Which was correct

We're going to get more cash for Steve Howard at 34 than we sold Gradel for!

A very bad bit of business considering how well he's done at Leeds.

He wasn't happy at the club. Had a bad attitude too. <- Inside source

Your inside source is quite correct... Gradel was far from happy under Pearson... And Pearson did not like his attitude..

My inside source is right?! Woop! I will go back to it for transfer news... btw given and woodgate are in the post from january ;L  the only reason that was incorrect because a middleman twisted the story a wee bit.
