Craig Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 PFA Championship Team of Year: P. Kenny, K Naughton, Harte, A Williams,W Morgan, A.Taarabt, Sinclair, A King, Hoolahan, D.Graham, Holt. Well done lads, thoroughly deserved throughout the course of the season.
Bugg Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I still find it incredible that this year, we have two players in the TOTY, but last year after reaching the play offs we didn't have a single one.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Delighted for the two lads. Fully deserved, especially Naughton. Chipped in with a few cracking goals, too. Not bad for a RB. One thing though - why are these awards decided before the end of the season is up ?
Haydos Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Bothroyd must be bummed. Congrats to the lads, it's a middle finger to those who don't realise King's value to the club this season.
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I still find it incredible that this year, we have two players in the TOTY, but last year after reaching the play offs we didn't have a single one. We were more of a team last season, you couldn't really say an individual stood out from the rest of our team like King and Naughton have this season. Having said that Hobbs should have been in there instead of one of those Forest muppets that were picked. EDIT: One of those muppets is in there again. Wes Morgan? He's a bag of wank! Williams is overrated too.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Ashley WIlliams is a great defender. Would love him here at Leicester.
Brown Fox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 NO! King is invisible everton can have him! Oh and Naughton is a loan so he doesn't care for the team so let's send him back!!! Oh wait... Well done to Kingy and Naughton though. Both quality and great guys.

I think it makes sense to me.. There were no players who exceeded the rest last season. Where as this season Naughton has shone as well as King with his goals.
ScouseFox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Played boys, glad to see their performances getting recognised by people who know their stuff.
Joe. Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Naughton fully deserved, King questionable. I'd have Gradel in ahead of him without a shadow of a doubt. But I think the voting's done in January or something daft like that.
The Doctor Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 I still find it incredible that this year, we have two players in the TOTY, but last year after reaching the play offs we didn't have a single one. don't forget that last years TOTY had only one purpose, to wank off over newcastle as much as humanly possible.
lcfc_jme Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 'Grats to both. Naughton has been awesome for us and his inclusion is thoroughly deserved. King's early-season form was exceptional, and though he's tailed off (probably due to over-reliance and exhaustion, no doubt), his inclusion in a Championship Team of the Year squad as a substitute would've been more than justified.
