Forest Fans

I went and i thought forest fans were dreadful they only sang when they was winning and they didn't even fill most there stands also I thought the atmosphere in the away end was amazing only time we didn't sing was after there third goal and first 5 mins of second half, i dunno how it sounded on tv but from where i was we were alot louder and on the way back from the ground to the train station we sang all the way home and abused forest fans so i dunno were this smugness comes in because i thought they were pretty quiet even when they'd won the game.

1) Your team is no European force anymore. You at best a mediocre second-tier side.

2) Your ground is shocking seriously. I've been to Pride Park, it smells of piss but that anyday over the City Ground.

3) Your fans are largely racist.

4) You're hypocrites.

Have fun choking in the play-offs, Automatic for the Foxes next year. Rant over.

:scarf:

Wasn't going to bite and was simply interested in seeing what your views on the game/goalkeeper erro was but after reading this such drivel for three pages i had to reply.

1) Have you ever been a European force? Ever? And to another poster reminding that we were in league one, weren't you aswell??

2) The city ground is one of the best located grounds iv been to in this country, and im not just saying that because its my local team. Its old-granted, but being located on the banks of the Trent is excellent. Id prefer it to any of the souless, flatpack stadiums any day. Iv been to Swansea, Pride Park and the Walkers this year and theyre all the same.

3) 'Ours fans are racist'. I didn't go to the game but i heard of the chanting. No offense but Leicester does have a HUGE asian population and alot of football fans are morons, do you not get this every week?? I think suggesting we are all racist bigots is an over exaggeration of a small problem. due to a few idiots.

4) In what way are we hypocrits?

Finally, i agree that we will bomb in the playoffs and i think youll be challenging for auto next year due to the stupid amounts of money being thrown around your club at the moment.

On a positive side i thought from the replays you played well and were unlucky to get a draw, also seemed to pack out the away section of the ground which is always good to see.

 No offense?

Stupid American IPhone. See your point.

I think the point is more 'why should it cause offence?' rather than 'you can't spell'.

Absolutely no reason whatsoever, didn't mean it that way. However the fact remains that Leicester is hugely diverse and every football team has it's share of moron fans. I think generalising that to a complete football club and it's fanbase is wrong

Can't believe how hypicritical some of the posts in here are, claiming all forest fans are idiots, morons, racists etc etc based on a few fans and yet all forest fans would have to do is read half of this and their point would be just as valid.

All fans have nobs amongst their fans, I don't get why anyone ever bothers to make an issue out of one small group being particularly stupid.

The City Ground looks the same as Oakwell. In fact it looks the same as any Old Stadium that's a similar size with red seats.

And how is our ground like Swanseas? It's absolutely nothing like it.

My first trip to the City ground and a of my thoughts...

1) It is well located and picturesque.

2) We took a good number and from where i was EVERYONE stood all game.

3) we definitly out sang them for all of the first half and it was about 50/50 in the second, although it was fantastic when we got that 2nd, shut the fookers up and we were LOUD.

4) After their 3rd they were loud and trhe whole ground was in to it - as good as ive heard.

5) I wish we had won :(

Would love us to have Forests' ground. And a home record against them like theirs against us.

At least I've seen us win at their place in the flesh. De Vries had a great game if I remember rightly. De Vries.

Anyway, yeah, a lot of their fans are nobbers. Mind you, ours weren't much better behaved, especially on the way into the ground or the way home from the game.

Racism, mocking the dead, vandalism / criminal damage, violence and abuse. Not bad for a derby game that's supposedly unimportant.

We will beat them there in the league next season. Look forward to seeing you again you tree branch wankers.

You probably will, can't see us winning the playoffs. At least we will entertain the rest of the east midlands with our annual playoff collapse :P

Excuse me, We drew 1-1 with Red Star Belgrade, if that's not a European force I don't know what is...

The Shitty Ground, deserves its name. It's cramped, dirty, you have a net over the away fans due to your fans moronic behaviour. Your stadium's lifeless. Your ground only came to life from the 3rd goal onwards!

I think the no offence hints at your 'racism' or cultural ignorance as it's probably more correctly defined. Surprisingly we don't get that every week. Only you and Millwall so far. Not a nice club to join.

Yes, we did deserve a draw. No point being humble. We were marginally better than you.

Good luck in the play-offs. It'd be nice to have a derby in the 2012-13 Premier League season :P

There's plenty of ways to get us over forest but ground is the absolute last thing. The City ground is fantastic, one of the best around infact, ideal location near town, lovely setting on the trent, good variation of stands and can be very atmosperic. Calling a ground old and a "shithole" is one of the most ridiculous things to say considering 95% of us would give our left bollock to be back at Filbert Street.

I agree for the most part but I was talking about it's general keep and how it's not well looked after. That is all.

the city grounds alright but i do hate the scoreboard - i'm not keen on needing to take a stopwatch with me to know how much of the match has been played - get a clock you tree shagging *****.

And that GOAL flash. *cringe*

But pretty much agree with every that the City Ground is better than the Walkers. Fcuking boring bowl.

Pretty much every ground for me is better than the chuffing bowl. Older stadiums have history and maintain the heritage of a club.

And if you can take your Blue tinged blinkers off it would be nice. Saying the city ground is lifeless is absolute nonsense, and I think you'll find most grounds have a net over the away fans if they are seated in a similar way as us. Also I think the comments from your fellow Foxes shows you are on your own in your opinion of our ground.

You drew 1-1 with Red Star. I'm blown away.

And as far as cultural ignorance goes, you can shove that right up your arse. I spent 7 months living and working in the middle east. Take that as you like.

You may have but you surely can't deny that there was a relatively large proportion of forest fans who proved themselves to be culturally ignorant on friday?

Although FuriousFox46 is talking absolute bull if he thinks that only forest and millwall have been culturally ignorant.

Why so hostile, I was trying to be friendly

I don't like the City Ground. I much prefer the Walkers but that's my personal opinion. I don't really like old football grounds. I don't think the Walkers is lifeless. The City Ground was poor except for us until the 2nd half and after the 3rd goal to your credit, it was electric.

Red Star Belgrade are the Barcelona of Eastern Europe.

Good for you, you've proved your cultural ignorance with the other post.
