Don't like Lords purely because there's too many of those types around. Vastly prefer The Oval for a day out and a bit of cricket in the Smoke.

:o Really? First person I've ever heard who prefers The Oval to Lords, Lords is beautiful I think, only cricket ground I have been to thats that better is the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Dont really do London anymore though for cricket, much prefer the pie and pint style of Headingley or Edgbaston, Trent Bridge is a great ground when full as well.

Great knock from KP, superb and hopefully ram the taunts back down the throats of any idiots thinking we should be dropping batsman who average 50 in test cricket for people like Ravi Bopara. lol Like I said, nothing at all to fear from India's attack if you can keep Khan in check and even more massive today to get on top of Harbajhan early, India will be trying exactly the same with Swann tomorrow.

Lovely ball from Broad.

Mikund was unlucky to drag it on but again well bowled Broad

That's what happens when you pitch it up Stuart.

:yesyes:

When he realises he doesn't have to bang it in halfway down the pitch every ball he looks a genuine threat.

Also makes he shorter ball more dangerous when he uses it.

:appl: Tremlett and Broad. Some tasty bowling.

I'd like to see England to set up a 400+ lead and then attack India to look for the win but Strauss is too conservative and will bat for far too long.

Fantastic day's cricket. Have to nail this advantage home, want the 1-0 lead and then we can infract some real pressure into the Indians.

Bat tomorrow until lunch, then assuming we are 1 or 2 down can have a real slog in the afternoon to build up a huge lead then get them in tomorrow night.

It's not often you will bowl out that line up for less than 300 so we have to hammer this home. As ive been saying for ages thier bowling is awful and we should really be able to take it to pieces tomorrow.

He wants us to be the number one Test team in the world. To do that we have to win by two clear Tests.

If the opportunity comes along we'll go all out for the win.

Quality performance by Broad yesterday - back to the form he was showing last summer. Shame Anderson has gone off the boil, though...:(

With 196 overs still to be bowled, there is plenty of time left in that game. A decent batting performance should set India a stiff target and it will become a question of whether they can survive the final day.

Wow! What a session!

Morgan and Prior need to bed in here to stop the rot.

Indeed.

Thank god we managed a big first innings lead otherwise we'd be majorly up against it. Although if Sharma managed to bowl such a good spell, I can't see any reason why one of our pacemen can't do the same.

Prior and Broad have settled things down, 362 ahead.

Bat for 10-15 overs after tea then put them back in.

No idea what we were doing this morning, thats what happens when you forget about batting and are thinking of a declaration.......

Fine now though, all settled, now get this ton Prior and we can have a right go tonight.

Amazing knock from Prior when you think of the situation he came in at.

Not surprised here at all. 2 England Innings , 2 declarations.......should see more of the same over the summer.

Exactly what everyone who isnt up India's arse knows about the Indian bowling attack. It's pisspoor apart from Zaheer and Harb on a dustbowl.

4 down at lunch, 2 wockets this session and it should be 1-0 tonight. :chant:

Tendulkar out - massive wicket.

It's going to take a special innings from someone if India are to escape defeat.
