Will do most likely, the Indian batting has been a shambles so far this series, and chasing 400+ will always be hard. That said, this Indian batting line-up are capable with chasing down anything ON THEIR DAY, with the class acts of Dravid, Laxman and Tendulkar. Although they'll need to learn from England to take the game to the bowlers rather than being so careful and defensive.

Indeed. India are still capable of winning this.. Today will have hurt them so much though...

The England management team should be commended for making virtually all the players have some ability to bat for a while. We don't have a tail which is a massive boost.

We do look good all the way down.. Its GREAT ! :celebrate:

Most of the ex-pros (on Sky and BBC) said Dhoni should have stuck to his guns.

They clearly have no idea of the fans' perspective. Not all fans have encyclopedic knowledge of the laws of the game. Imagine what would have happened if Tendulkar had been run out in such an incident in Delhi or Mumbai.

Indeed.

Many fans would probably have assumed the ball had gone for four as well, so were confused as to what was happening.

All credit to Rahul Dravid for the class he showed in his interview at close of play. India took a battering today, and again had the rough end of a few disallowed lbw appeals, but Dravid was still happy to chat to Sky about the events of the day.

A few of his colleagues (and indeed players from other sports) would do well to watch and learn from him.

Meanwhile, although England are now on top, they will need a swift return to form from Graeme Swann to close the game out and take a 2-0 lead in the series.

That man is a gentleman..

Indeed.

It was a brilliant interview considering the circumstances. He was eloquent and gracious - top, top man.

More amazingly quick and big scoring from our "tail" this morning, Bresnan got to 90, Broad with 44 from about 30 balls.

Set India 478 to win, with just over 5 sessions of cricket to get them all out/for them to survive.

Ain't no stopping Broady this series, takes the big wicket of Dravid for just 6 :trumpet:

On our way to 2-0 now.

If India have any sense they might as well try and play some shots (like Bell, Pietersen etc did) as just defending it and doing fvck all is going to get them nowhere- they can't bat out these two days.

Another wicket.

England deserve to go on and win this comfortably which they no doubtedly will.

A shocking performance so far from India, a disgrace from the 'Number 1' team in the world. No fight or spirit at all from them, and just gave up imo.

Just been very very lucky with recent scheduled and having all the decent sides bowling at flat track bullies.

Their seam attack has been woeful for years and have relied upon the batsman making huge scores, they only won 3 of the last 9 tests and six of those were against New Zealand and West Indies without Pollard and Gayle.

I'm winning a fortune on this England side with being given odds against V Australia and India, we are clearly the best side in the world along with SA and I think we can hold down the number 1 slot for a while with the age of the team.

Still gotta feeling that this series will end 2-1, with India hanging on to the No1 spot, if Khan, Sehwag and Gambhir are back in the next Test. But then I had a strong feeling India would win with England 128-8 so what do I know?

I can see it being 4-0, if India do win one it will have to be at Edgbaston, I'll run round around the walkers naked if this attack can take 20 English wickets at the Oval.

Sehwag is out for the tour isnt he? Though i'd still fancy Anderson V him in swinging conditions.

The real shocking thing is India have won 2 very important tosses. I dread to think what the scores would of been in these 2 test had England won them.

Certainly are.

Anyone at Edgbaston ? I'm there for the last 3 days.

So nice to see England beating teams into submission.

We bat all the way down and have bowlers such as Tremlett and Finn not even playing.

Superb.

Tendulkar half way there...

He doesn't look like anything's causing him any problems, if the rest of them can stick with him, he could well finally do it. But that seems a big if.

Kiss of death or what ! lol
