AmyLGK Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 She's a smart little cookie is Amy. Smart...but have been spending a bit too much time obsessing over our next transfer and not enough time in the lab....so on that note I'm off! When I return at lunch time we'd best have signed someone
blueblood88 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Cannot see the konchesky deal going through as the LM states, but also they say WR could sign in the next 48hrs and City might have cooled on Maynard I think everyone read that themselves, don't need you to say all over again do we
cambridgefox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Amy will be trying to start an electromagnetic wave around the stadium next season, the mexican wave is sooo last year
Callabinho Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 The word from Geordie land is that he looks set to join us. yet another major catch!!
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I think everyone read that themselves, don't need you to say all over again do we How do you know or are guessing AGAIN
MikeyT Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 WayneRoutledge Wayne Routledge Its funny what's assumed weighed up against what's known and what's expected...
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 WayneRoutledge Wayne Routledge Its funny what's assumed weighed up against what's known and what's expected... Hmm.....
Dicko Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 WayneRoutledge Wayne Routledge Its funny what's assumed weighed up against what's known and what's expected... This doesn't sound promising
blueblood88 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 How do you know or are guessing AGAIN Errrrr, because maybe it was said in the Mercury article??????
Petchy Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Although it may be directed at us, it could equally be in response to all the speculation of him joining Swansea.
thybluefox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 From Footyagent66 when I asked about time frame for Routledge... @13thoughts Could get drawn out as #NUFC would prefer him to go to Swansea as leverage for a swap deal involving Neil Taylor footyagent66 Just now
MikeyT Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Although it may be directed at us, it could equally be in response to all the speculation of him joining Swansea. Exactly.

Routledge has got to want to go there too though. May sweeten the pot, but he has a say in it too.
Dicko Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Routledge has got to want to go there too though. May sweeten the pot, but he has a say in it too. True, but Newcastle may not accept an offer from us if they want him to go to Swansea. Plus, while Routledge may have a preference to come here, that probably wouldn't be strong enough that he would flat-out refuse to move to a Premier League club. We'll see what develops I guess, it's all very cryptic at the minute.

SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey Newcastle's move for Swansea's Neil Taylor is edging nearer to being resolved after being referred to a Premier League arbitration panel.
Bert Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 If Newcastle have met the release clause they don't have to offer anything else. I'm sure they'd rather he wasn't playing against them next season.

Darkon84 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 From Footyagent66 when I asked about time frame for Routledge... @13thoughts Could get drawn out as #NUFC would prefer him to go to Swansea as leverage for a swap deal involving Neil Taylor footyagent66 Just now Sounds similar to us with CMS. Peterboro' wanted him to join us to sweeten a deal for Kennedy....look how that turned out. Could Routledge do 'A Brighton' and snub Swansea for us?
Dicko Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey Newcastle's move for Swansea's Neil Taylor is edging nearer to being resolved after being referred to a Premier League arbitration panel. That's better news! If that transfer does get sorted out then i'd imagine Newcastle would then prefer him to move to us, rather then strengthening another Premiership club. I think i'm over-thinking this....
