cc_star Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 How people got from those tweets to "he's not coming here" is beyond me. because it's all over the papers that he is coming here & then he says "Where do papers get there info from? Take your time and do proper research" hardly a shot in the dark, although he could of course be referring to Swansea
Haydos Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 because it's all over the papers that he is coming here & then he says "Where do papers get there info from? Take your time and do proper research" hardly a shot in the dark, although he could of course be referring to Swansea It's not, it's all over the papers that he's going to swansea.
cc_star Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It's not, it's all over the papers that he's going to swansea. Mail, Mirror etc have Leicester which is what I was going by, of course it still leaves loads that may say swansea it's just I haven't seen them
thybluefox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 because it's all over the papers that he is coming here & then he says "Where do papers get there info from? Take your time and do proper research" hardly a shot in the dark, although he could of course be referring to Swansea Thats basically what I was getting at, he obviously means at least 1 paper is barking up the wrong tree, doesn't mean he's referring to us though.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Maybe he was talking about Sky Sports News? I only saw Swansea mentioned on there?
1994fox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 also was in the sun i read today dont forget wales online !
John Matrix Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 papers do research?! nah, then they couldn't do wild speculation.
Manderic's pants Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It was also in The Times (blocked from search engines so you need a subcription). Under their 'decent bets' transfer news: "QPR have missed out on the permanent signing of Wayne Routledge despite a fee being agreed with Newcastle United at the end of last season. The winger is on the brink of joining Leicester City for about £1.5 million, as the East Midlands club’s Thai owners invest money in an attempt to deliver a promotion challenge. Leicester bought Matt Mills from Reading for about £4 million last week, beating off competition from Swansea City and Wolverhampton Wanderers." http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article3091102.ece
Liamlcfc1 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth OfficialAfter Konchesky, @WayneRoutledge should be next in at Leicester, beat off competition from QPR & Swansea #LCFC
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 So when is Routledge allegedly meant to be signing? Either tomorrow or Thursday apparently.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Itkagent1962 ...@ @Fourth_Official @wayneroutledge And #NFFC messed him around yesterday re his contract. #LCFC
Stevosevic Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Makes sense, on the forest forum someone said that they agreed on paying WR 12K, then when it came to signing, the chairman had produced a contract stating 8K and refused to change it, therefore WR pulled out.
Happy Fox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Itkagent1962 ... Routledge should be announced tomorrow or Thursday #LCFC fans Sven is being backed heavily, still looking for a striker. Maynard the target
blueblood88 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Must be the forward my brother was on about earlier then
psychonaut Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I get the feeling agents are using Leicester as a bargining tool to push up wages and fee's. Other clubs know we are prepared pay high wages and fee's so having us linked to a player (via agents talking to the media) creates a buzz and puts pressure on said interested clubs to cough up the extra £££ or big spending LCFC will come in and pay whatever I (agent) and player demand.
Mr.Lowe Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 http://twitter.com/#!/wayneroutledge Latest tweet from Jay Bothroyd to Routledge... wishing him luck on his move!! To where though?
Liamlcfc1 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 http://twitter.com/#!/wayneroutledge Latest tweet from Jay Bothroyd to Routledge... wishing him luck on his move!! To where though? It was from Wayne to Jay about QPR
MikeyT Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Its QPR No, he means where will Routledge go. Or am i reading your post wrong?
Stevosevic Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Its a tweet from WR to JB, not a tweet from JB to WR.
