Wymsey Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 We needed another winger for a long while. He would be very ideal. But I'm surprised QPR haven't got him permanently.
bald reynard Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 If we sign Routledge, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Dyer goes on his way. To Hull / Leicester Second XI, if anywhere.
Joe. Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Leicester will sign @WayneRoutledge and show their Premier League ambitions with the biggest move yet #LCFC
MikeyT Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Leicester will sign @WayneRoutledge and show their Premier League ambitions with the biggest move yet #LCFC Beat me to it.
Howard9 Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 is this fourth offical guy REALLY a trustful source? because ive looked at a few of his tweets and half of them are pure sarcasm and more ironic pisstakes than anything else. still would love routledge though
sdb Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 A good deal made to look all the better for beating off Prem interest. Money talks once again.
Toffee_Fox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Maynard? is this fourth offical guy REALLY a trustful source? because ive looked at a few of his tweets and half of them are pure sarcasm and more ironic pisstakes than anything else. still would love routledge though Got Nugent a few months ago.
Haydos Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Good player with Prem experience for only 1.5m. Arguably bigger than Mills Definitely got my hopes up for this now. Obviously going to be in a foul mood when he moves to Swansea tomorrow
Woollett's Wellies Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 That's a point actually. Is that tweet supposed to read in two parts? Signing Routeledge and our biggest move ever? (I must give up reading transfer rumours it's doing me no good).
Toffee_Fox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Blimey, time does go fast I miss the daily Nugent watch

A lot of what he says appears after it has appeared elsewhere, either here, on another website, somewhere else on Twitter or in the papers.
kingfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Just thinking about it how I would love it if he came, we could have a Mackail-Smith saga on our hands again. Sky Sports said Swansea have bidded for Routledge, while Daily Mail who seem to love rumours about Leicester City are forwarding him to us. While our very own useful bert thinks he may be on his way soon, and that other sources seem to point Routledge in our direction. Shall we jump the gun early, because we might all be left a bit red faced.
Rhysm Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Maynard? Got Nugent a few months ago. Would be a great player. Think we will need the pace that he will bring especially if Dyer is surplus. Not sure about this fourth official though. Just seems to regurgitate what is said in the papers (in this case the mail) and say it in a way that is so confident you don't question whether it is right.
Bezzanator89 Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 People are saying that if we get Routledge he'll be our biggest signing yet....kinda takes the shine off the £4.5million+ signing of Matt Mills really.

He has a reputation to protect, and from what I've seen he's rarely wrong.
Pookie Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 How I read it is that we're signing Routledge and about to make our biggest move yet for another player, could be wrong of course!
Stevosevic Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 He has rarely been wrong and clearly has links with LCFC as he follows some of the academy/young pros and talks to them on twitter.
Fox 4 Life Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 He wouldn't have "tagged" (not sure of the correct twitter lingo) routledge in if he meant a bigger signing on top, that was purely kissing his ass IMO
